I recently purchased a european Comand APS ntg2.5 unit for my mercedes ML350, seems middle east map cds here dont work on european comand units? Did any one have the same problem? Or solution?

a friend had the same problem so he had to buy a new gps from here which had maps installed

I went to the mercedes dealer and they told me the gps unit Comand APS costs AED 35000, thats crazy!!! I might as well buy another car!!!
