connecting phones?

i am the kind of guy who took a good year to get used to the iphone and ipod features ... now that i have a nice car .. a Merc CLS ... i wanted to know how people are able to connect their phones with the command feature in the car? As far as i understand ... there is no bluetooth in the apple iphone and ipod so i cant transfer straight ... what other options do I have?

You will be able to find a connector for your display system in the markets. Make a trip to Sharaf DG and see if you can find a normal connector that will connect to the iphone and your merc. Since almost all syncs are done via the bluetooth you can also use the tricky option ... transfer all your contacts, etc on a phone with bluetooth on ... (maybe a smart phone) and then sync with your car.

I tried to use the connector but my contacts didn't transfer so I used a friend's phone to transfer all my contacts easily. Works perfect.

thanks saiff .. are you sure i can get any car connector and it will work .. to be honest it will be my first so i don't knw .. will it be available with different pins so that i can connect my samsung as well? thanks again buddy
