ac works on and off

every once or twice in a day the ac stops working

as this is not happening on regular basis i am unable to diagnose the problem

what do i do

See if car int overheating t the same time when AC stop cooling. It cud be as its interlinked and that how almost all cars are designed. When car reaches certain temp AC cuts off to save overheating the car more.

If its overheating seek any mechanic to diagnose that and fix that first ASAP. It could be because of blocked radiator, Fan not working, water pump is weak etc.

If car is not overheating then seek any AC technician and ask him to check the compressor under full load and see if its getting weak, weak compressor do cut off under load.
