the car compartment light stays on

the lights inside the car that switch on if the doors are open are not switching off

we checked with all doors, bonnet and boot closing and ever moving the buttons but still they remain on.

how can i switch them off????

so u have checked that the switch is in the "doors" position? hmmm...what happens if u lock the doors?

also, im not sure about how the lights work in the 206, but in other cars the switch to turn the lights on are the actual lights; meaning u press the lights to turn them on. is the 206 the same?

Relay must not be working and passing thru current directly and hence lights stays up all the same.

Start with relay for interior light.
