what are the possible reasons for faulty fuse of Alternator?

what are the possible reasons for faulty fuse of Alternator? i may have changed the fuse for like 7 to 8 times but the fuse still gets blown away.

Kindly give me any possible advises.

My suspicion goes to faulty voltage regulator. Regulator is fixed into the alternator and when it fails it cannot regulate the correct amount of volts being put out by the alternator which then blows the fuse.
