Cooling Fan

After about 15 min of shutting down the cooling fan started up by itself. I checked the engine Temp and it was normal. When I put the key in the ignition the fan stopped. This is the first time I have experienced this, is it normal.

Yes it is, as even when you switch off the car if car engine temp is slightly above normal car cooling fan automatically kicks in for few seconds / minutes and shut off again. Its very normal in luxury sports car to protect the engine.
