shahbash
I have a Toyota Sequoia 2006 and I am having a problem with the grinding sound it creates whenever I switch to reverse. I know I should have brought this to the shop a long time ago but at that time it wasn't that loud. Right now it came to the point that it is making my head ache. Any ideas on how to fix this thing? roshan
It could be a brake drum noise if they are at worn out stage Or It could be from VSC/Trac drive train, which seems like a big expensive fix. Observe the noise if it comes from the wheel side, its brake drum. If it comes from under the car then it could be VSC/Trac (big job) or any other driveshaft rubbing against something (minor job) issue. If it comes under the car, better lift the car on lift and inspect the drive shaft and all axle and differential joints are free and not touching with anything.
