cadiguy Posted March 20, 2011 Share Posted March 20, 2011 Without opening engine you cant say if its changed or not, and if you open engine then you have to change all seals and gasket (major job). So better rely on km mechanic idea, if its above 100k its due time to change and better invest time and money and change before it slip. If you get any of these signs means its too late to think to do it or not, just do it. 1. Slipping while starting occasionally. 2. Loosing power while going uphill or towing 3.
