how critical is changing spark plugs

delay in changing the spark plugs will affect my VW EOS the plugs will take another 2 weeks to arrive so should i wait or should i get a cheaper option.

2-3 weeks is no big deal, make sure you get right ones. Plugs life always have couple of thousand km buffer. I assume and hope that your current plugs are not fully dead and bald plugs from grave yard .
