How to save money

Recommended Posts

Very good question asked. One thing I know is to take a good advantage of the warranty. Generally, all the new vehicles come up with 3 years warranty or sometimes 35,000 miles warranty. Warranty by the dealer covers almost everything which we call it as bumper-to-bumper warranty. So wheenever your car is under warranty, always take it to the dealer. Also keep in mind if you take your car to any external workshop when your car is still under warranty, it may affect the warranty as well. So ya, get it done free, when you know you have an option! :)

If the warranty gets expired, then take your car to an individual auto workshop. Once the warranty is over, the dealers always charge the double of what general workshops charged for any repair or replacement. But stick to one garage only which is affordable. Changing workshops from one to another is fluctuate your maintenance cost every single time. Off course before sticking to one garage, you can browse around and choose the best workshops offering finest services in affordable price.

Not only that, if you face small issues in your car which is easy to diagnose then you can opt to solve that on your own as well. For example changing the filters or bolts. Some of the things require specific tools, but it doesn't mean that you cannot fix it. You just need to know the proper concept. And that's it. I suppose solving small problems on your own is a big money saver.
