Well its not 10 to 15 years far anymore, I have seen a video of many of those cars from different brands in testing. 2016 - Mercedes is planning to introduce highway only auto car that can overtake vehicles safely. 2018 - Nissan is planning same. 2020 - Google, Volvo, GM, Tesla, Audi, BMW, Renault will join the race. Do you remember movie Tron: Legacy, that showed same concept in 2010. In 10 years its coming true after self parking cars now on street anyways from Ford and several other brands.
