Thank you all for joining our little adventure this morning! I think we had a good run with hardly any refusals and zero stucks. Of course due to the large convoy size i did my best to keep the momentum flowing, which helps. But nevertheless all of you drove fantastic today! Thanks as well to @Ahmed Farouk for a superb second lead, polishing my tracks where needed so the rest could zip through effortlessly. @J-P L and @Bjoern for the support duties and keeping me informed throughout the drive. With your help it made managing the large convoy so much easier! A special shout-out to @Ana who upon our arrival at the hidden lake, took out a bag and collected all the waste. In less than 15mins she collected a full bag of litter and plastic. Thank you so much for putting our words into actions, and i promise we will organize a desert cleanup drive soon 🤩 We tried to find the serial broadcaster but failed. Please everyone double check if your radio is broadcasting by itself, either from bouncing against the middle console, dashboard, or it is even possible that the VOX setting is on (with this setting enable you don't have to push the button, and some noise will trigger the broadcast). Huge thanks to @Frederic and @J-P L for sharing all that off roading wisdom with us. What was meant to be just a scenic desert drive turned into a real hands on learning, and everyone genuinely loved it. @Ana gesture of picking up the garbage by the lake was truly inspiring. It is such a meaningful touch and will truly make Carnity stand out from the rest. Already looking forward to our next exciting and meaningful drive together very soon!

Convoy order 1) Asif Hussain - Xterra 2) Sam Selim - Jeep 3) Glenn W - FJ 4) Beide Worku - Ford F150 Checklist : 1. Please ensure to be on time at meeting point. 2. Get lots and lots of rest the previous day. The more, the better, as Liwa will challenge not only your vehicle but also your mind. 3. If you are coming with a passenger, please ensure they have experience riding with you or previous experience in the desert, and that they are also well rested. 4. Ensure 4x4 is well serviced recently and all the lubes and fluids are topped up. 5. Arrive at meeting point with full fuel tank. Last ADNOC station https://maps.app.goo.gl/hkGLEBfDY7fvEHc46 6. Extra fuel - Carry and additional 20 liters (recommended) especially if you have a smaller fuel tank. 7. Spare tire should be in good working condition. Ensure both front and back tow points are in good condition. 8. Bring lots of water (at least 5 ltr per person) breakfast, lunch, snacks, energy bar, cookies, nuts, etc etc for yourself and your passengers. We shall be having breaks in between the drive. 9. Hi Fred, I just went online to copy the meeting link for what I thought was tomorrow’s Valentine’s desert escape (after convincing my wife I don’t love my Jeep more than her)… only to realize it’s actually on Sunday — proof that Carnity is truly a family-friendly club after all! 😂😂 c u on SUNDAY
