It was indeed a drama free relaxing drive out there this morning! With @Kishor on his first drive, we started off gently but soon realized he was a natural: keeping the exact momentum and lines and not setting a foot wrong the entire morning. Extremely impressive and you're a perfect fit for Carnity: perfectly on time, equipped with all tools, and excited to drive. We could not have wished for a better Absolute Newbie Not just Kishor, but everyone drove amazing today, so we could ramp up the pace and complexity a bit, and all of you delivered brilliantly. @Esteban Ayala@florent sierens@edward-392 you were all in my rearview mirror π We took a break on Pink Rock and i felt happy to see @Imran Asghar completing his 100th drive with us. I remember his early days full of enthusiasm and jokes, and it's great to see none of that has changed As a drive lead you can now carry forward that same enthusiasm for offroading onto others. It's fantastic to have you in our midst and we all wish for many more drives together! With @Anish S , @J-P L, @Ash S.and @JC_E amidst the convoy things were a breeze: we had some good fun winching Zubail his starship, with the right tools and cool as cucumbers. It was starting to really get hot when we exited, so starting at 6AM was worth it, and the coming weeks we might even start a bit earlier Thank you all for joining today, on to the next one!7 points

We could have cleared the sand in front of all the wheels to reduce resistance and attempt a recovery. However, considering the scorching sun and intense heat, opting for a winch recovery was the right call, especially since a winch-equipped vehicle was available in the convoy. Additionally, it is a heavy car, avoiding further digging can prevent from getting buried deeper, that ultimately makes recovery easier.4 points

Bro if I pulled that thing any harder my car would have been disintegrated into oblivion. When ash asked me to force his car into a stuck before the winch could pull your car I knew we were in for some serious s-#t! I was ducking behind ash's steering wheel in case it snapped and pinged me on the head! Crazy heavy! @Frederic you think in that situation a regular snatch type rope the flat type that doesn't stretch would of been better or to much strain on the cars ?4 points

Thanks as always for leading such a fantastic drive @Frederic and also of course everyone on the support team for making it such a smooth and fun experience! And thanks @Imran Asghar for the coffee - congrats on the 100 π! Great views, great company - a truly epic way to spend a Sunday morning! Dropped a few pics of the drive here π€4 points

For me, itβs very easy to say that this was one of the best rides Iβve ever had in the desert. The terrain was amazing, the speed we drove was incredible, and the route offered every challenge. It truly required putting all my driving skills into practice. Most importantly, I learned and gained so much more. I gained a better understanding of power management, the importance of momentum over RPM ( @Giacomo your advise was super helpful especially when dealing with coolant temperature issues). I I got pulled once and managed some several self-recoveries after a few refusals π. The team was incredibly solid, and @Mark B, you where outstanding in leading the group.4 points

Totally agree ! After some digging the kinetic recovery would have worked. @Imran Asghar Ropes that donβt stretch would be a bad idea to use in this situation. These are only good for towing vehicles.3 points

Hi @Mark B, I did talk to my Jeep Dude and analysing the issue he concluded that I'm not part of the problme. I'm the Problem πππ Good speed, abt 4500Rpm 2nd gear and I will sail thru the dunes. I did clean my Air filter (bucket of Sand) and give a good top up to the coolant. 100% a win win drive and thats the great thing in our club. I will defiantly not buy myself a VOLVO and give up π2 points

Yeah I'm just wondering without the winch what we could have done. Dig lots and just work on it slowly or use two cars to pull it. Or 1 V81 point

Try to arrive 15mins earlier if possible so you have ample time to deflate and set up your flags. When you arrive you can deflate to 14psi if you have HT tires (Highway) or further down to 12psi if you have AT (All Terrain) tires. 2. Bring enough water with you. Summer is in full swing. Let's not overexert ourselves. 3. We will be using Channel 4: 446.081Mhz on the walkie talkies. See you all in the morning! See you all tomorrow1 point

@Frederic Apologies for the last-minute notice, but I won't be able to make it to today's drive due to a personal matter. Have a great drive, and see you all next time.0 points
