hi Looper,
My car is a Baic BJ40C, black colour, mounted K03 285/70/17 - 4H - 4L - diff lock front and back
Experience:
- good level in mud / rocks - extremely limited experience in soft sand.
- 2 times out in the desert (Al Qudra), and still adapting to my new car. Quite a change, in my country I used rather to drive turbo-diesels, or more powerfull fuel models.
I Confirm having read all and having all equipment mentionned.
Let me know if needed more info.
Hi
@Thomas54675 @Rasna @Enrico - Mountain @Lazy Frog @khlief @Hartzel @khurramm @Mei Ling @Infaz
Below is the convoy order for tonight. It's all about supporting one another and enjoying the drive.
Please be ready by 7:30 PM with your tires deflated and your flag up.
Don't forget to bring your chair!
Welcome to the club @Stephan Guglieri!
The main advantage from driving in sand is that it's less messy compared with mud and softer than rocks as well 😁!
I am sure you will enjoy. It's all about momentum and flotation. See you soon in the sand!
Dear all,
Agenda proposal for this drive:
1. Testing reinforced bashing plate - Prado
2. Degustation: decaf vs standard coffee
3. Measuring inflation times ARB brushless single vs twin vs Viair 300p
4. Any other open items?
