The speed chime cannot be silenced by cutting a wire or installing a switch as this will deactivate other key safety warning sounds such as the seat belt. The design of the 120 chime, as I was told by Suzuki, is a EEPROM. I need the wiring and ECU layout with pinouts to see if it can be done. Does anyone have these manuals? 2023 Baleno GLX with K15B motor.

Hi All, I have a 2023 Baleno GLX that has the non-silencing 120 kph speed chime. I have been in deep discussions with UAE Suzuki over this and trying to get a software update to remove this. The dealer will offer a silence all chimes which is a bad decision as it mutes all chimes including safety items. I have declined this option. When I was buying this car, I was refused a highway test drive and only allowed on side roads at max 70 kph. I never knew that it would beep none stop when above 120 kph!! I'll keep you posted on the outcome.

Hi All, I'm looking to borrow some tools for my 2012 E82/135i. Does anyone have a generic BMW Shock strut spring compressor that I can borrow? It must be the the proper type, Please see attached. I'm also looking for a rear sub frame bushing kit, Drive shaft nut wrench 52mm. Cheers. Craig 050-450-9625

I spoke with BMW SZR. They said that they do not have the reprogramming to remove it. this is not a mechanical system. Its software. there are companies if the states that can do this but I never followed through. what a most annoying chime. let me know what you find.

Yes you can twice a month. Do you know about my question?

When is BMW doing another advance driving day at the track?

I beat this dog dead. BMW Dubai says they do have the reprogramming to change this. I know of third party companies in the States that can do it. You will need to FedEx it over. Does anyone have some proof this can be done here?
