Sorry to hear of your situation. Call the Police now. I went through much the same situation with this person. I read about George on this forum and decided to contact him for a problem I was having with the auxiliary fan in my 750. This problem turned into a problem that George discovered with my drive shaft. While I was never able to determine what shop George actually works at, I did go to "his" shop to meet him after two weeks without my car to see what work was being done. On that day, my car was not there and after waiting for an hour, George was a no show, but he did answer his phone and say he was just around the corner. While waiting for him, I was told he is freelance and takes cars to multiple shops. After 5 weeks of not bringing my car back, not showing up when he said he would return the car, not calling, not answering his phone and when he did, he would tell me he was waiting on parts or that the part he had installed didn't fix the problem. I thought I would never get my car back. It was not until I threatened to contact the police within the next hour, that he finally showed up with my car. My car had scratches on the hood and when I asked for the receipt for parts and labor, George confessed that he had replaced my BMW parts with second hand parts from the junk yard and that was why the problem took so long to resolve. We did a test drive and the problem with the drive shaft seemed resolved, but needless to say, the problem is not fixed and after 5 weeks I have no idea how many BMW issued parts are now junk yard replacement parts in my car. I also received Salik charges because he was driving the car. Of course, according to George, those were test drives. Really ... call the police now.
