  1. Check the connection of AC fan, if its working or not. one of the major cause because of which car overheat. Drive without AC and see if it helps.
  2. There could be so many reasons and most of them could be electrical issues. So better get the car on recovery and go to diagnostic guys who have good OBD II, ford computer (not general all purpose X launch) and drill down in sub category to see what malfunction is recorded.
  3. Its the head gasket of engine is leaking, that separate the coolant and oil Its leak inside the engine. If you have this, you must have expereince tremendous power loss, smoke and overheating.
  4. I dont know abt recall, but brake oil leak is damn fucking serious and dangerous issue. Check with al tayer or ford directly, if its recall they will fix it. If not get it fix and dont drive car as if brake oil drips to hot manifold whole engine will catch fire in seconds. DONT DRIVE PLEASE.
  5. Check the spark plugs wires, it may not be properly fixed. Just push all wires by yourself hard enough inside the spark plug mount and check.
  6. get rust proofing spray and coat the chassis by yourself from under the car. If you go to company they will charge bomb and still do the same job.
  7. Go under the seat and if u can open the locking latch and get replacement and fix it by yourself. Its not difficult. Good luck.
  8. fuel filter, fuel pump or CKPS (crank sensor).
  9. Its a service due light dude, get it service and it will go off. wrench light. lol.
  10. Stop driving, and check rear differential oil level. Looks like its leaking and rear diff running dry. Very soon it will explod with clak clak noise, better get it refilled with OEM spec oil asap.
  11. Add the Power steering fluid in the reservoir bottle under the hood.
  12. The cam sensor is somewhere on the cylinder head and should be easy to replace. If you look at the lower right of the valve cover the cam sensor is in the side of the head just below the valve cover. It's small black and has two wires going to it. Hope ur cam timing isnt off, what code u got???
  13. Welcome vivek, thats really hell of an intro (good one) . Im sure you are very happy with Ford like many others here. Good work in expressing your thoughts as many of use are dud lazy.
  14. Alternator isn't working for sure. Get it checked and get it changed. Thats why new battery is also not getting charged and after few days showing the low battery icon.
  15. hi my escape jerks when i stop the car in signal and when i shift to a low gear in incline areas. any idea what is wrong with it. thanks
