CRV stands for Compact Recreational Vehicle. the inspiration for this car was from Hinda Civic. They come in 2 wheel and as well as 4 wheel SUV's very much capable in the desert and on road. As you haven't mentioned which CRV you were talking about i have mentioned both the 2 wheel is not that capable but the 4 wheel is. and specially the 4th generation one. there have been few recalls as the door and the power window had faults which could have caused fire. There is no connection between seatbelt and airbag light at all. These are two different safety aspects, there may be some wiring issue of reporting seatlbelt light thru airbag warning, which is misleading and seems like a glitch. For such technical and tricky situation pertaining safety i think you should better seek Trading enterprise help and ask them ti explain or check why its happening?

There seems to be some electronic fault definitely, that can be properly diagnosed with Honda OBDII diagnostic tool thru computer checking. I also suggest dont delay this check as if something critical is there shouldn't damage the car or your road safety. You can visit dynatrade and they can do same in 30 minutes for 200 dhs.

the reason that that the second mechanic advised you this is because you wanted to delay the expenditure which is very usual and not a big deal unless the leak is very big to handle which in this case i dont think it is thats why you were suggested to refill till you can fx the problem which was a genuine quick fix.

Autopro is also good, approx cost would be around 3k atleast. Spark plugs and steering pump is easier fix but timing belt is biggy.

Have u tried in shj spare parts shops, whose address is listed in business section on homepage here. Used once Divya/Dhanya guys in Sharjah, they have big stock of all original spare parts than Al Futtaim at a very good price. Saw those shops in line in sharjah for first time and was quite impressive to see the parallel shops of spare parts in so much quantity.

In dubai i suggest 40k km is good, in saudi it is advisable at 20k km as fuel is really bad.

Check gas leak and get gas top up, it sounds like its running dry.
