    I so agree with aman, dealers will hate you and make u run in circles for buying US spec. Unless you willing to write US Jeep for requesting their dealer to cooperate, then they will start accepting and helping you.

    Are you aware of jeep spare part shop in sharjah BMW road. They usually stock old and Amercian specs jeep spare parts. If you tried that as well without any luck, then i guess its time to change for few year newer model. Btw hats off for living with 1 vehicle for 16 years. DAMN GOOD.

    Its very hard to find when winters are going, as that's a one thing always in tremendous demand. You can also check in scarpyard in sharjah may be they have one hard top.

    Do you know upgrading the ECU will void ur warranty for sure. No matter how much chip flashing guys say no, better check with dealer before doing it.     Good luck with your search, just wanted to tell that STT and MTX are both quite heavy and noisy tires. Heavy tires restrict offroad fun on stock engine (unless you have some engine mod already). Noisy tires make too much hmmmmming noise on road, so u also need good loud music system. lol. My personal choice is BF Goodrich or Cooper ATR. As they are lesser heavy and less noisy with very close onroad / offroad performance compared to STT and MTX.

    Anil, you are absolutely right bro. In Dubai summer after 40 degree driving jeep isnt very nice and in most summer here it stays above 40 for 4-5 months. Actually Jeep top has bad insulation, which radiates the heat and bbq the driver head badly. If you drive long stretch its still acceptable as after 10 - 15 mins of drive it gets acceptable. If you drive short run then you will feel the heat too much as by the time you are home car starts the get at ambient temp. If you are like person who bear heat then you can actually live with it, but if you like me who want car AC to be chilling cold then Jeep as a daily drive in summer is not advisable.

    the belt was stuck in my wife's car and we have toddlers too so had to get the entire belt changed.

    i visited experts for getting clutch and brake changed after reading this post mentioned the forum name and said that few guys have got the job done from you and i got excellent price with a good job done. thanks guys.

    its very sad to know that the RTA did not approve. happened once with me for exhaust and i just changed the location for passing and it was done. yes but if you have vaasta then it get done faster.

    repairing them is not possible. you will need to get them changed.

    Saju: Sad to hear about your story. But i am glad that people like you exist to share the real feedback here on open forum, so that other can learn from it. Not just accepting all situation and nodding their head to dealers talk. Hope you hear something soon from Jeep Mideast guys and get your car sorted. Good luck man.
