  1. After a month of waiting, finally the Hyundai OEM Crossbars have arrived! perfectly fits and no problem with my Panoramic Roof!
  2. Hyundai Mobis OEM Side Step Board installed...
  3. IMO i won't take risks on DIY if your unfamiliar with the brake system. Needless to say brake is one if not the most important part of every vehicle. no expert here but if you here continuous squirting sound while braking, i think its time to check and replace a part of it. cheers!

  5. Hyundai OEM Hood Deflector installed but I think I need to paint the grill matte black.
  6. mojo wrote: > nice. where did u get this done? how much? thanks i bought the visors at Hyundai SZR, parts & accessories, but they don't fit there so I DIY it, instructions included in the box and its fairly easy. cost is just around 150aed after discount. cheers!

Hyundai (and KIA) are really giving other car makers a run for their money! Almost all recent models have sleek design and features. Giving great value with a very competitive price! Thumbs up for the designer!
  8. ^thanks for your advise... i will ask JAM, though getting them in writing is near to impossible, i don't think they will do that. can't wait 3 years to modify my car. i want to paint the caliper and rims. but i am afraid to take risks!
  9. Hyundai Mobis OEM Door Visors Installed...

  11. Hi Admin, Just a suggestion, maybe if we change the website domain to www.HyundaiUAE.com will encourage more members to participate in this forum? not just from Dubai, but from other Emirates too. or if that is too close to the dealers website, maybe www.HyundaiForums.ae? only an idea, maybe its not that easy.. just don't bother. cheers! daN
  12. Does painting the breaks caliper will void the company warranty even if you don't disassemble it? Planning to paint mine but i'm afraid my warranty will get void.
  13. Quality does not end on the vehicle itself... the end-user has a big part of it as well as the maintenance service provider. I'm planning having my Hyundai SF for 10 years, i really hope JAM can make it last longer.
  14. I've got the full option and so far i have no problem at all. You've also got all the gadgets you want installed! though there's a friend of a friend saying that his Santa Fe (2.4L) is quite slow especially when overtaking. i think he is right, the car is heavy for 2.4L engine imo. either from low range to high range, the car is still awesome! buy now...
  15. I have similar issue; when i first booked for 1000km service i was given a 3 weeks time, but my km is more than 900km that time, i have no choice but to booked then. But i tried again to check if there's an earlier slot because my km will reach 2000 if they won't give me any slot asap. They manage to give me within a week booking, but in Ras Al Khor! And just for a Quick Service, it took me 4 hours waiting! I've filed a complain immediately... I can't help but to compare the convenient service at Honda (my previous car is 06' civic). Now for my Santa Fe 5000km service, i booked 3 weeks earlier and given a slot on Tuesday, 8th Oct at SZR, but i underestimated it and i still have more than 600km so i called last Thursday and try to book for next week but were surprise to know that the next slot is around Nov. already! I think Edison is right... if i only knew they are doing this for owners with pre-service agreement or worst for people like me who take the 2 years relax plan, i should have chosen the other ramadan promos. I don't find it relaxing now.
  16. Hi Everyone! Last July 30, I just had my first 4WD vehicle - the 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe 3.3L namely "Frost". Its been a long process of comparison on which one to purchase from Edge, CRV, Pajero or Sportage. In the end, Santa Fe gives me the best value for money. How i wish the Turbo version is available in this region but unfortunately not... anyway so far I've got no problem with it and pretty much loving the power. One thing I hate though and i think most of you as well, the JAM Servicing really sucks! Glad to have a local Hyundai forum here in Dubai. This forum will be really helpful and hope i can contribute the best i can. Regards, Dan
