On the pump there is a bracket with an adjuster on it, loosen the bolt designed to tighten the bracket from slipping after the adjustment is set and the pump pivot on the opposite side.
Then loosened the long adjuster bolt to allow the pump to swing.
A little bit of light oil on the threads will aid turning them.

Brake change is decided per usage not km. You shud be seeing the differece when mechanic install new one and take out the old one. It will be noticeable difference in both brake pads.
Your car wheel alignment is out and thats why one side tire tread is getting consumed faster than other. Get the alignment from professional guys asap.

But it was gear issue that needs to be released by computer. It was some safety and security glitch. But all is fine now.
