  1. I think and I hope that the problem is in dirty Dextron in a transfer gear or previous owner puted there some transmission oil-not Dextron III!
  2. There is no switch-there is two motor, check they
  3. Your car was checked by Nissan Consult diagnostic scanner?!
  4. Hi,friend. Try to check TPS(trothle position sensor) and also make self diagnostic procedure for a/t - it is easy.
  5. May be revolution (speed) sensor of transmission not work properly or damaged. Anyway you should bring the car for some good diagnostic.
  6. If your MAf sensor, plugs and alignment with wheel balanse is good, check oxygen sensor(when they not work properly - than double increase fuel consumption). Also check exhaust manifold cover(under engine)-if it broken or cracked - immediatly need to change, cause it also reason for fuel consumption. and if you want-i give you contact of very good and cheap service station (Russian) in Dubai, you will pay 250AED for full diagnostic and take consult from they.
  7. Which tijary parts for QX4 you are loocking? I work with a spare parts and may be I can help you...
  8. You are assured?! Yesterday I check my consumption in Emirate road and Dubai-Sharjah-Ajman roads: 30 litres of SPECIAL petrol for 160 miles(it is around 250 km),speed 80-100 km/h with cruise. In a Dubai-Sharjah traffic consumption is 28-30 litres for a 75-90 miles (120-140 km)...
  9. I find Japanese springs for 200 dirham each, but only front:( I need rear also. Used parts for Pathfinder check on the scrap area near of Al Habtoor Motors(BMW road) and in a "Chalenger" shop also(near of Caterpillar roundabout), so many used parts for Nissan i seen in afghani scraps(behind Sharjah college)
  10. platinum plugs should reduce fuel consuption on few percent and platinum plug have service live long-around 100000km! How much eating your car now?
  11. Hmmm, thanks again.I read manual before of the use 4x4 car:) But my 4wd knob on normal road everytime is in 2WD position(rear wheel lamp on)-I think the problem in some electric part...
  12. Thanks,I know it. But genuine s/absorbres and coil springs very expensive, the Kayaba absorbers and OBK springs is Japanese makes and have good quality. I just ask for replace experinse and better cost for parts
  13. Guys, somebody changed rear and front coil springs with schock absorbers? Which parts was used for replace?
  14. Hi,guys! I have one trouble with my QX4 electric:in the way, after 82-85 km/h speed 4wd warning lamp will light up and 4WD shift lamp will switch(( Maybe somebody know what is this?!
  15. Which parts requaired? Your garage is under Insuranse company?!
  16. I wish just sucessfully drive my QX,and main target is drive without trubble's. I think 4x4 car's peoples buyed not for fuel economy - for drive on any kind of road
  17. Hi,Humsafar-you right. And one more reason for the oftenly change enine oil is cleaning properties for better engine work. 7-8 thousand km is ok for UAE. What is the mileage of your car?
  18. Some mechanic's people advise also changing the oxygen sensor(4 pieces-150 dirham each!!!) and only genuine spark plugs, air and fuel filter, and trotthle sensor (170dhs) also need to change. Some ingector cleaner (which not reccomended by Nissan factory) NO NEED to USE!!! One man from Russian forum told me that his Pathfinder (R50,3.3) eating 30-35 liter per 100 km! I think this problem have all 3.3 and 3.5 engine(QX4/Pathfinder models),if we will change every thing, what's requaired for reduse fuel consumption - it will be half car price!!!
  19. Which type of petrol you use for QX4?! For VG33E engine need only 91 or 95 maximum (better is 92-US and Europian petrol) For VQ35 engine also same petrol. But full tank capacity is 80 liter,so it is 136 dirham for Special(95th) petrol I discuss same problem on Russian QX4/Pathfinder forum and there is guys have same problem. VG33E is very old engine and anyway eating in city aroun 17-20 liter,in highway around 14-16 liter for 100 km((
  20. Salam aleikum,Humsafar I think my car eating over of your! Cause my as I know QX4 tank is 80 liter,so last trip my QX eat E-plus petrol for 50 dirham on 90-100 miles(144-160 km) only:( But I know exacly that my air and fuel filter is old and not clear, spark plug also old's,tire pressure was low and alignment is not correct. I plan to make clear service for my engine and suspension, than I will check consumption. In Russian QX4 and Pathfinder forum many people also have high consumption of fuel. But anyway this car's is very good for daily city and off-road drive!
  21. Hi,Sihan. I know BMW road and many other shops(cause I work with a spare parts),but for QX4 in UAE I'am not find any non-original hard duty spring coil like Kayaba,OBK On scrap I want to find some original spoiler and bumper guard
  22. I think my QX eating same As I know-all QX4 have fuel tank for 80 liter!...
  23. Otherwise check MAF sensor (air mass gauge),some time need just accurately clean by petrol and dry it,in other case need to replace-but he is too expensive. Unproperly working or damaged MAF sensor increases the fuel consumption on 20-40%!!!
