You are not risking anything in using spare tire.
Thats what it is made for, but rem until you get punctured tire fixed you are driving without spare and like you said all tires were worn out so your chances of getting stuck somewhere is more high.
Get all tires change sooner than latter as tire is the very important part of any car and with present Dubai heat is even more killing for tire rubber to sustain.
Hi folks
Good Morning, friend of mine is breaking up 2001 model P38 with 250,000 on clock, few items are booked already and if anyone needs something give a shout.
Who like New 2014 Defender here????
Be honest guys. I really loved it. Its cool and stylish with modern features.
Thank god LR changing it from last 60 years old design. Better late than never.
Vogue also has in dash sat nav, wooden steering, wooden dashboard trim, wooden door trim, Harman kardon speaker, every door has 1 woofer, fog light, RANGE ROVER branded brush guard.
You know what fuss i am talking about (its kiddish), i am pretty much active in all the places too.
Keep it simple and follow the brand enthusiasm, like you said. Cheers.
BMW and Honda dealers will stock MTF94
MTF94 is a long life version of 10W40
Surely MTF-94 is a 75W80 viscocity oil to API GL-4.
Castrol VMX-S is a semi synthetic 75W80 whereas Texaco MTF-94 is fully synth 75W80.
They are both semi synthetic - a fully synthetic version is Castrol SMX-S SAE 75-85, API GL3/4.
Pricey, but works well in the PG1 tranny.
MTF94 is indeed an equivalent to a 75w/80 which is why refilling with a 10w/40 oil will give you a slicker and lighter change. Change it every 50K is all you need to do. The MTF94 has a recommended change of 120K but from experience 50K of MTF94 in an gearbox is enough to give a heavy gear change.
Timing belt change is due at 100k km, if no history and its crossed 100k km i would advise get it sooner than later as if timing belt snap it cost you 5 times more than just timing belt change at the moment. Dont wait for indication if anyone tells, as in most case it just snaps without an indication too.
You can, but better dont take chances as you dont know what problem exploded that pipe and it might explod anything else now. So put on recovery and mechanic take care of rest.
If its orange light and appear while off road or on slippery surface its normal, not to worry. It tries to tell you that car was losing traction and hence car slowed throttle response and brought car back in traction.
If happening randomly on road, get it OBD II compliant LR qualified computer to read the trouble code and then fix the issue.
Check for gear oil leaking signs under the gearbox oil sump, its gasket is tend to leak after certain age.
or top up gear oil and see if it still knocks.
Sounds like gearbox running dry
99 means its BMW engine one, with aluminium 8 banana manifold on top. Right?
Its very easy. If you are standing in front of engine, follow the spark plugs wires and draw plug wires out and open spark plug with 16mm wrench and replace it. Its on left and right side of engine if you are standing in front. As a best rule of thumb, do one by one else you might mix the plug wires and will result in missing. Secondly the on both sides first three plugs are cool to get in and replace but 4th one (last one in line) is a bit hassle, so be patient and focused while doing last one.
If you have never done it before, call for some help. Im living in JLT (Jumeirah Lake Towers) you can feel free to pass over on weekend with plugs and we can do it together. Its about an hour job.
PM me if you like to come over.
