  5. Don't worry, I have a diff plan for you now. Will all stand next to your FJC and take our pics except yours.
  6. Thanks Vee, I have positioned Anish in Group 1 now. Thanks Richard, as we have Anish now, so your daughter can stick to Group 2 only. We will have detailed photography brief on camera settings and drivers to make a big splash in the morning.
  7. @Nathan Evans @varunmehndiratta @Richard Franks @Gilbert Khalil @Veedooshee @Ilya @Chinthaka Ruwan @Rawad So here is the final plan of action for tomorrow's big day at big red dunes. First, we will focus on drivers' individual shots at steering or outside their car before we get sandblasted. Then we will find the good slopes for capturing action shots by splitting the convoy into two groups. I positioned smaller focal length lens at entry and exit, and longer ones at numbers 2 and 3. We will try both different positionings based on each dune and how cars are able to deliver sand splashing. Group 1 Nathan Fujifilm XT-4 with a 24-80mm Varun Nikon D5100 with a 50mm, a 50-200mm Gaurav Nikon D750 + 28-300mm (f3.5-5.6G) Nikon ED VR lens Gilbert EOS 600D with18 to 55mm Group 2 Veedooshee Nikon D7200, Lens is 18-140mm Ilya Sony A7R and 28-200 Richard Franks Cannon EOS 4000D. 70-300 Chinthaka Sony A6600 camera with 18-135 Lens Rawad No cam When the group 1 cameras are placed all around on slope, entry, and exit, then Group 2 cars will start taking turns to climb and deliver action shots (need not be the highest climber, simple sand splashing - will brief tomo on this). As soon as the first car exit the slope, the second car will enter by itself so that we can maximize the action on each slope. Each group car will have two attempts on each slope to splash enough sand. I expect set-up and positioning will take more time than cars passing one by one, so raise your tolerance and be supportive to each group, remember we are trying this for the first time, so we will learn a lot from this experiment to improvise. I hope we can have some good action shot on 4-5 tall slopes before it gets too hot. Please carry a cap/hat, sunglasses, and a lot of water and beverages, as it's gonna be a field trip tomorrow. Charge your camera batteries, radio and do carry your tripod if you have (not mandatory). To keep the convoy order simple, Im replicating the group order above which may not be very good for drives experience, so I might tweak it if we face any drive difficulty tomo.
