  1. What a great trip guys.....! Absolutely zero stuck drive without any incident or damage. Started with great company and like minded offroader, inspite of having a newbie on board still we made it to big heights and big falls together. It was real adrenaline pumping ride that ended not so good in couple of bushes track, but that's the beauty of offroad terrain, just accept it as the way it comes. No complaint in any terrain from all rounder Mitsubishi being Nativa or Pajero all been to same height and exited desert without breaking the bumper, Pajero's being most notorious in breaking rear bumpers . Started from Fossil Rock back side and been to Fossil rock and crossed to the other side to experience gigantic fall. Covered 21 kms in less than 3 hrs with easy pace and couple of breaks. Many thanks to Hossein, Binu, Syam, Shan and Shamnas for all the support and great company, It was nice knowing you all for the first time and look forward to drive with you guys again. 2. At 100k timing belt change is mandatory. Choice is yours to get it done with dealer or with competent workshop outside in better pricing.

  5. If only single bulb not working, it could be bulb issue. If both not working, check the fuse first and then doubt on bulb.
  6. Welcome to the forum and most welcome for the drive. Good to see you are well prepared with all safety gears, and recovery tools. Lets rock the evening for sure, and make new friends.
  7. You most welcome, Binu. Will make sure to exit by 6.
  8. You should start with 15 psi and can go as low as 12 psi, if recovering in soft sand lower it to 8-10 psi, but inflate afterward to 12 - 15 psi or else you will pop out tire on sharp turn or on side slopes.
  9. Finally my problem got solved. interesting discovery though. Sorry for late comment. Brake fluid canister have two filters: one on top and one on down from where it goes to black hose. Removed and cleaned both, and then remove the soft rubber from cap so that returning brake fluid can breath air out and leave the fluid in canister. All in all it was strange and weird, but it cured the problem and now no light is flashing, and brake oil sit slightly more than MAX level (when cold) and still not returning from cap like before and leaking when switched off.
  10. Make sure your wasnt overheated, as A/T light appear when something with transmission or when car overheat and radiator cant cool the tranny oil and it throws A/T red light. If car radiator is leaking, i strongly suggest dont drive and get the radiator / leak fixed first and then see if still A/T light appears?
  11. 250-300 if you go for long life platinum plugs, else 100 dhs + 50/100 for labor.

  17. No, its a steering lock problem inside the steering wheel that isnt working.
  18. Get the wheel alignment and it will drive straight.
  19. Sounds like a gear issue than a mounting issue, but im surprised how noise disappeared after the mounting has been changed. Seek a gear rebuilding company to check the gearbox and advise, it surely is gearbox issue.
  20. Looks like motor is bad, and its stuck. Need a new motor if all electrical and fuses are fine.
  21. You can find many shops in Al quoz doing a professional job at quarter the price than dealer. To name just a few: Technical Garage, Dynatrade, Autoxs.
  22. Thanks Ghassan for quick trip report and pictures. It was my first drive with Range Rover (Ghassan, its not RR Classic). And big thanks to Richard (Doc) who made sure that my RR comes out in one piece, with front bumper so low i had no hope of saving it but with good pace and careful choice of track by leader my wife is still happy, as this RR is on my wife's name. Whats in the name though I would like to thank Manuel for second lead, Ghassan for sweep, Vulcan, Arif and Naushad for good company. Looking fwd for the same experience again, it was pleasure driving with zero ego and like minded people so that we can enjoy the natural beauty and company than showing off......!
