  1. Hi Ahmed, thanks for asking in the forum than PM it just that this way will help everyone like you when they need it. To be honest apart from small glitch of blip (cut-off) at very high volume, which sometime is irritating I haven't found any sane reason to add amp and sub. And to counter this blip, I found an easy way out to adjust fader to +4 or +6 for rear in a setting of 15 point so that I can hear more from the back and this resulted in a real solid thump from the back that is loud enough to shake my seat backside. However this setting another drawback is in low volume you will miss the front impact so I keep playing with fader as needed. You will understand this and master this if you go with my type of set up. Actual reason for this blip (I think) is front is 60W and rear are 100W and head unit pumping at 100x4. If I play only only on rear then this blip is not there. In my case it was a space trade-off with this little inconvenience, so I chose the later as my Pajero being off-road ride, I want as maximum space as possible and I don't regret this choice till date. If you like to hear this set up, feel free to pass by anytime and that will help you even more in understanding what I am explaining. Both shop who installed head unit and speaker did't do a good quality job, so don't go there. Instead if you like buy above speaker, head unit and cables from souq or any mall and get it installed with proper sound guy. This made a big difference in my case when I scrapped all OEM wires at Barry's workshop with new cables. Started hearing every little detail as much as my hearing sense can absorb. Proper installation with good cables were amazing and way better than stripping wires and twisting and taping them so many times. Hope it helps.
  2. It will be fine for 6 cylinders and even for 4 cylinder car, it just that 4 might struggle little bit but it's doable safely. @jason200 if we are down by 12:30 PM so you can reach Dubai by 2:00 PM.
  3. Woah, flood can be so nasty for cars, never knew that. Most of the insurance here cover the flood damage by default, so I think better to let insurance write off that car and get your money back. Now I know why all US import here are so cheap as majority of them are flooded or stolen cars.
  4. Jabal Jais, is a mountain on the border between Oman and United Arab Emirates, with an elevation of 1,911 m (6,268 feet). The highest point of this mount is located on the Omani side, but a secondary hill (in the same mountain) west of this peak is considered the highest point of the United Arab Emirates, at 1,892 m (6,207 feet) above sea level. [Source: Wikipedia] With forecast of rising temperature (35 degree) and to start the UAE summer chapter, we plan to look for morning drives now. And what better place to start other than the RAK mountain range which always are few degrees lesser than the other areas. Get ready to enjoy some of best snaky curved road making up to the to this grand Hajar mountain range. If current ongoing roadwork on top permit, we might make it to the top to enjoy the view from both sides of the mountain and enjoy the sea view. This drive will offer plenty of photo opportunity for the shutterbugs, so make sure to carry your best camera and long range lens. Plan is to start early and finish early to escape the heat and yet have our Friday dose of fun and adrenaline. With this timing we will also eliminate the usual rush at this newly developing tourist site. So please be on time, as we are really pressed on time so if you are late then you have to catch up by yourself. We plan to come down before the Friday prayer timing so that people can pray in neighboring mosque below. 5. To some extent, I agree with treks as Mitsubishi coil and spark related department is extremely sensitive. I vaguely remember long ago something happen with my 6G74 and tried coil pack from scrap and it did't work out as expected. Eventually I have to buy 3 new coil pack as Mitsu support 2 HT lead per coil, so you don't need six.
  6. Is your coilpacks are working fine...? Is your HT leads connecting in proper order on each bank? Is this shorting happening on all tubes or just one or two? I assume 6G72 means 3.0 Pajero, do you mind sharing some background history as to how and when you spotted this?
  7. Wonderful experience writing, and I truly agree that it was a total waste of time without any stucks, cresting and digging. Although our leader spotted one stuck for other family group, but alas we couldn't use your slaves as that stuck required a tug. On the other hand driving off-road in dunes with rain is a blissful feeling that very fortunate guys experience. If you be kind enough to give us another chance when it's not raining, will make sure will try to live up to your expectation and offer you more involved experience for you and your shovel.
  8. Thanks all for lovely drive and beautiful pictures. Please upload rest of the pictures in drive gallery below, I have uploaded mine. https://carnity.com/gallery/category/11-lisali-to-qudra-lake-24-march-2017/
