  1. Carnity is a platform that values the voices of all car owners and off-roaders for open discussion. Ultimately, whether one finds satisfaction in their vehicle, modified or not, is entirely a personal choice. Reflecting on your Masterclass on February 28, 2023, where the focus was on exploring the world of off-roading without succumbing to the expenses of yachting, it's evident that each sport and lifestyle has its unique approach. Some prefer a more light-hearted experience, while others venture to the extreme. In the realm of off-roading, it's important to note that the Carnity off-road club isn't tailored for those seeking an extreme adventure. Numerous splinter clubs exist, each showcasing their prowess every week, engaging in the perpetual debate of who can outperform the other. Frederic, boasting over 8 years of off-roading experience with four different vehicles, doesn't own a Jeep, possibly sharing a sentiment similar to mine. I, too, find Jeeps to be a bit unreliable compared to their Japanese counterparts. This perspective is rooted in the experiences during the 2007-2014 production line, where Wranglers faced numerous issues, particularly in the desert of Dubai. Now, the JL model is diligently working to rebuild that tarnished reputation, making significant strides, though perhaps with a humorous nod to the crank seal challenges. In essence, you've effectively shared your perspectives through your successful mods and presented your argument in this discussion with a reasonable rationale, which is commendable. Let's kindly conclude the conversation there to uphold the positive and constructive nature of this debate.

  5. Thanks @Mariem, please check your car front and rear tow points as standard Prado has them, very well, unless the previous owner has removed them for some odd reason. Front and rear tow points are mandatory for all cars and without which you cannot join this drive. @Ghaithh and @GS periwal appreciate it if you please share your details, which will help me prepare the convoy order accordingly.

  10. Fantastic achievement, @JeromeFJ 🌟 You've conquered new heights and earned the esteemed title of Marshal with Carnity Offroad Club! In March 2021, Jerome Piens roared onto the scene with his stunning FJ Cruiser and an insatiable appetite for off-road knowledge. Jerome's maturity and dedication to both off-roading and teamwork were unmistakable right from the start. Since joining Team Carnity, his selflessness and passion for mentoring have swiftly made him a cornerstone of our off-road family. With over 180+ drive experience and skills, he has taken on new challenges and tasted the maximum adrenaline offered at a higher level and pace of drive. His extreme passion for sand driving, leading and supporting off-road drives made him rise through the ranks to become a vital part of Carnity off-road club. His contribution and intelligent support behind the drives, planning and great teamwork were always been highly appreciated. MARSHAL is one of the most prestigious and sought-after titles that comes after a lot of hard work, patience, tolerance, and dedication. Just like all the levels in Carnity offroad club is "NOT" only based on driving skills but instead based on the combination of your personality + intelligence + team spirit + adventure. This Marshal title is an epitome for all levels in the offroad grading structure. So if anyone wants to grow, they can set any of Carnity Offroad Club Marshal as a PERFECT example for not only following the driving skills and style but also observing their behavior, teamwork, presence of mind, calculative approach, patience and tolerance to teach and support new offroaders.

  21. All I can say is good luck with the use of 4L on long climbs exceeding a speed of 40-50 km, please write back in 6 months with your learnings and experience. This is the most common and only trait of biased clubs to play with ego in a pissing contest to either show who can climb the highest or who can jump the highest for maximizing damage. For a true hill climb, there are multiple things required if you need to compare Apple to Apple. Most of it boils down to: First: Experience, skills (line of attack, approach angle, distance and momentum), and understanding of your car gearing and power band, tires, tire size, tire pressure, and weight in the car. Second comes power mods and suspension. The Last is 4H and 4L.
