  1. This is an absolutely neat and clean RARE Range Rover 4.6 Litre V8 “Autobiography”. Car is full options and is GCC specs bought from Al Tayer in the year 2000. Exterior is white and interior is black. Car has full leather interior with loads of Mahogany. Supplied with full body colour coded bumpers and absolutely scratch less exterior. Inside leather trim and wooden trim is in superb excellent condition. Cleaned, polished and conditioned every 2-3 months. V8 super silky 4.6 Litre engine starts and drive like a charm and never skipped a beat. It comes with sports mode and has All Wheel Drive with additional LO range gearbox for tricky situations. Owned for almost 3 years and always drove the car with proud and smile. I have recently restored suspension from EAS to normal coil spring to be more reliable and less expensive for coming years. I have recently changed brake pads about 5 months back. I have always used Mobil 1 engine oil and replace all spare parts with original Land Rover parts. All below listed functions are working: • Power adjustable wood & leather steering wheel • Cruise control • Hand stitched leather without cracks and not torn • Hand stitched leather door inserts • Automatic transmission with sports mode • Automatic individual climate control air conditioning • Sony explode MP3 player with flash drive and remote control • 11 Harmon Kardon speaker with door subwoofer in every door • 8 way adjustable driver and front passenger power seats • Memory seats • Electric sunroof • 18” Hurricane alloy wheels • Headlamp wipers • Antilock brake system • Driver & passenger airbags, side airbags • Front fog lights • Huge load capacity with fully flatbed boot Price: 26,000 aed. Color: White Km: 144700 kms Year: 2000 Car is available for viewing in Karama (7.30 am - 4.00 pm) or in Al Warqa 1 (5.00 pm - 10.00 pm) Not in a rush to sell, so please don't make any silly offer. Serious buyers always welcome.
  2. Not only farmers, but many old people here in UAE also say Land Rover than saying Defender. Also same for old discovery series II, they call Land Rover. My father in law saw that and first thing he said oh nice clean Land Rover you got. When i clarify that LR is brand and this model is discovery, then he just noded and said yeah its same same. lolol.
  3. In my Range Rover cruise control is also not working or sometimes working after many hits on crusie engage button and then slowly it loses the speed. Any idea how i can fix that? or do i need new vaccuum pump for cruise control?
  4. Hey CelticNomad, will this fit my Range Rover (p38a)? How much you are expecting, as i have no clue to make any offer.
  5. My RR had similar issue when bought. Mechanic changed some electrical motor or circuit looking part under the car near the transmission. I am not sure the name of that part and immediately after swapping that part LO gear started engaging. I am not sure if discovery 2 also have some of these stuff or not.
  6. Change to any (used/new) you like or afford/satisfy with. DO NOT DELAY RADIATOR LEAKS, if noticed. They can seriously fry your engine in 1-5mins of not noticing it.
  7. Thanks for the compliment Hossein, I am little busy these days with my parents as they are here in town. Will plan something soon inshallah.

  10. Thanks guys for the compliment, now its your turn to share picture and post another drive Sand bug, oops mitsu bug is itching.
  11. What a great trip guys.....! Absolutely zero stuck drive without any incident or damage. Started with great company and like minded offroader, inspite of having a newbie on board still we made it to big heights and big falls together. It was real adrenaline pumping ride that ended not so good in couple of bushes track, but that's the beauty of offroad terrain, just accept it as the way it comes. No complaint in any terrain from all rounder Mitsubishi being Nativa or Pajero all been to same height and exited desert without breaking the bumper, Pajero's being most notorious in breaking rear bumpers . Started from Fossil Rock back side and been to Fossil rock and crossed to the other side to experience gigantic fall. Covered 21 kms in less than 3 hrs with easy pace and couple of breaks. Many thanks to Hossein, Binu, Syam, Shan and Shamnas for all the support and great company, It was nice knowing you all for the first time and look forward to drive with you guys again. 12. At 100k timing belt change is mandatory. Choice is yours to get it done with dealer or with competent workshop outside in better pricing.
  13. Awesome Landie Tom B. I wish if i have Landies like yours. Its a dream Landie and photo touch up added more spice. Good work.
  14. I also have 2000 P38 Autobiography that comes with VHS player and sony screen. Can i also get this done, if i source GPS unit from scrap???
  15. If only single bulb not working, it could be bulb issue. If both not working, check the fuse first and then doubt on bulb.
  16. Welcome to the forum and most welcome for the drive. Good to see you are well prepared with all safety gears, and recovery tools. Lets rock the evening for sure, and make new friends.
  17. You most welcome, Binu. Will make sure to exit by 6.
  18. You should start with 15 psi and can go as low as 12 psi, if recovering in soft sand lower it to 8-10 psi, but inflate afterward to 12 - 15 psi or else you will pop out tire on sharp turn or on side slopes.
  19. Finally my problem got solved. interesting discovery though. Sorry for late comment. Brake fluid canister have two filters: one on top and one on down from where it goes to black hose. Removed and cleaned both, and then remove the soft rubber from cap so that returning brake fluid can breath air out and leave the fluid in canister. All in all it was strange and weird, but it cured the problem and now no light is flashing, and brake oil sit slightly more than MAX level (when cold) and still not returning from cap like before and leaking when switched off.
  20. Make sure your wasnt overheated, as A/T light appear when something with transmission or when car overheat and radiator cant cool the tranny oil and it throws A/T red light. If car radiator is leaking, i strongly suggest dont drive and get the radiator / leak fixed first and then see if still A/T light appears?
  21. 250-300 if you go for long life platinum plugs, else 100 dhs + 50/100 for labor.
