Al Beaa guys in sharjah charged me 500 dhs for fixing brake pads (labor only), as i bought pads. For 200 dhs installation they charge 500, just because i didn't ask labor charge first and in end this brake pad job of 2 hours become = engine overhaul job of one day. Real thieves, my first experience was very nice and that's why i trusted them to not to check the charges first, but after this second and last experience i called it off.

P38 model 4.6 liter 2001 model with 210,157 kms is having a mild ticking (constant in nature) noise on top of engine. Noise can be only felt when engine bay is open. If hood is closed then its not at all noticeable, unless you stick ur ears on hood. Is it because of bad maintenence previous owner did??? Engine life is close to finish?? Its minor and forget about.....!

Just wondering, why you need dog guard for pet dog. If its not pet what the hell he is doing in LR3 anyways....!

About the additional step, i went to ACE where i bough very small ladder that i use for my kids to climb on the car so if anybody is looking for a cheap and easy solution to this i feel this is the best one.

get wheel alignment done and see if there is any difference also check the tire pressure it should be 35 psi ideally.

Range Rover EAS is the most stable but sentive part. If you maintain with original LR parts then you can enjoy it otherwise things thend to fall apart and cost more in Long run than the expensive original LR parts.

Hi Gaurav, Any other problem you faced with your Range Rover in the ownership so far, as i am planning to buy one so want to check whether it is really expensive to maintain and troublesome car or not? As lot of people talk too bad about its expensive maintenance and prone to problems in this region (hot weather). Udyan
