  1. Query on similar line.... @Ilya do you cover the vehicle in parking.... Got some cats roaming around all times in my parking, concerned they might scratch the leather or mess up if left open...though have couple of open vehicles around in parking, one element that's driving me nuts whenever I think of taking the roof off.
  2. Hi @Lorenzo as always took milliseconds for drive to be full...i am not sure if as a support I can join under manage tab for intermediate drives, if yes, I can move to manage tab and will create a spot for someone interested to join...kindly advice
  3. Hahaha @Chaitanya D nice observation, however can't let you take it away from me....though @Jeepie tried a lot to cut me off and leave me stranded somewhere between waypoint 4 and 5, I made it through 💪💪. .and ended up as the last driver to cross the line...So I am the official Sweep of the event and m not sharing it with @Jeepie 😂😂😂 @Gaurav as righly pointed by @Chaitanya D this should be counted as sweep for 6 drives during my next assessment 😂
  4. This is pure Evil @Zed For this one @Carnity tech team needs to incorporate Devil/Zeddy emoji .. .👹 😂😂😂
  5. Beautifully organized event team @Carnity very well planned, structured and executed. For me the event provided a glance to challanges that leads face while planning and executing regular Through my association with @Carnity I could well appreciate how much real home work, time and grey matter scratching is required to be put in by leads However after today's experience that admiration has further grown exponentialy. @Jeepie as lead reminded me of words of my long time professional mentor *leadership isn't about proving one is the smartest person in the team but ensuring that team works towards the smartest soln". Despite all her experience the way she allowed the team to plan the path was just incredible. Thanks @Jeepie for providing us with this experience. Ofcourse as @Srikumar summarised in his final remarks - we could actually see today how the competitive challange helped us all grow out of our comfort zone. We had a mixed convoy and seeing drivers from all level collaborating, respecting each other skill set and in the process helping each other to grow was surely a sight to cherish. While Team Arabian Fox won the competition, we all as offroaders won the day today. Ps : @Wrangeld since morning today, @Jeepie has reminded me countless time that I voted for your team not hers (and ours). And after your success, Its been clear that major reason for success wasn't your experience but my vote, so you owe me a contributory treat..😂😂
  6. Beautifully written ...just showed it to wife and immediate response...good the drive is over, you take care of kids tomo...😂😂
  7. There's a reward on this as well? 😂😂 Nice initiative ..overall the enthu created around the event is superb..looking forward for the event
  8. Congrats to you too @Alain Canivet-Abikhalil and @JeromeFJ..have been on drives together with you both multiple times over last year and good to see all growing together in role and responsibilities...
  9. Thanks all for your lovely wishes...and thanks to team @Carnity for showing confidence in my ability to support the drives. It's purely a testimony to all the guidance from leads and seniors I have driven with and learned from - thanks for being patient during all my irritating mistakes/stucks/refusals and helping me to get better through each of the drives, not only as a driver but as person. Never would have imagined myself saying this - looking forward to be the official foreman (shovel specialist) on upcoming drives ..😂😂
  10. Congrats @PaoloMaraziti during all our drives togather somehow thought you were already an Intermediate...🙂 so now i believe all i could say is certainly well deserved and looking forward to be on more drives togather...
  11. Been using a low budget action camera GoXtreme by Pioneer....does the work, has 4k option as well available (model I have lacks that)..wide angle is pretty good and video quality decent. I got it with my Nikon Camera in a bundle was checking online and understand it's around 250-300aed. If i will change will surely go for Insta 360, as miss the 360 view on this one...however apart from 360deg view i am more than happy with it's performance...comes with waterproof casing as well and multiple mounting brackets. App is easy to use.
  12. Thanks @Ale Vallecchi for the wonderful drive. Always wanted to try these long range drives with you and couldn't have asked for a better experience - beautiful terrain, some nice technical dunes and criss crossing and awesome company. I just realized that i have completed 1 yr with team @Carnity and apart from all the goods we have already discussed across forum, key element that differentiate Carnity is the team. The playlists to match the drive theme, sharing of info about Long range desert group from World War II and man you went all the way to get the badge done...these are the things that transform experience into memories .thanks a lot for the same. Thanks @Jeepie and @GauravSoni for supporting the convoy..
  13. Hi @Ale Vallecchi just a thought if viable and okay for all - how about starting from Al Ain and ending in Qudra instead of Qudra as starting point.... With quite a lot joining from Dubai drive back home would be easier after a long beautiful day. The fun in any case lies more south of Qudra - this way also we will be able to cover more interesting part. Again just a suggestion if works for all.
  14. Hi @Ale Vallecchi Haven't been on drive with you since looong, especially on a long range route. Looking forward.
  15. Seems no space for waitlisted...Ind Vs PAk match on Sunday eve messed up the drive for me....while watching India lose, lost track of 7pm rush .m🙂 hv a safe drive
  16. Yup lost already one flag as thought hand tightened is good enough..I guess quick release soln! seems better ..been using it only for couple of months so while seems good I hope it will stand the test of time.
  17. Have been looking for this option....best input I could get is to get it screen printed ..not really convinced if it will stand the time.
