Thanks @Lorenzo Candelpergher i am using the same valve stem remover...didn't know can measure the pressure without adding stem core 😃😃 plus as you rightly indicated the long stem of guage is imp, have the yellow digital guage it's useless - not accurate and angle is pathetic especially when at night it's tough to read..will check this one on amazon...Thanks again...cheers

Hi @Lorenzo Candelpergher a query - noticed that while you were deflating my tyres you had a valve stem removal tool and a gauge which could kind of measure pressure without fixing the valve core fully. It was a bit of rush time so not sure if i saw it well, kindly advice if my understanding is right and if yes, can you share the model details. Thanks

Very insightful @Lorenzo Candelpergher coming from direct experience... What i enjoy most on JL is its almost flat Torque/Rpm curve .. it's as powerful at low rpm as at high...so maneuverability on soft sand and going up the steep dune is equalñy good... Again as @Abu Muhammad rightly indicated both are awesome vehicles and it takes a good driver to get result out of them ...i remember my first newbie drive where with same JL i struggled to climb up the pink rock and then we have @Luca Palanca Falsini who rocks the 2.4ltr engine on every terrain...so potential on these vehicles is crazy cool both need a driver who can tap it. @Abu Muhammad someday maybe we switch rides...and enjoy the beauties with diff perspectives, perhaps at a newbie drive...😃

Hahahah @Abu Muhammad so true.. .. though in your case it's not the car it's the awesome smooth and always in control driver ..who rules irrespective of the vehicle...😉😉 Reference to vehicle was only for me...😃😃

Thanks @Lorenzo Candelpergher for the beautiful drive through this unexplored terrain. I think it's the first drive where we didn't see any other vehicle...thanks for locating this beauty. Drive was surely a good test of focus and skill... and ofcourse one of those drives which make a Jeep stand apart 😃 Actually we should think about a Jeep only drive through this terrain... enjoyed every bit of the drive Thanks @Jeepie following your tracks made it easier for me all through and thanks to @Gaurav Soni for feedback from the following rider's perspective... thanks all, sorry for being a bit late in morning (google hadn't accounted for that extra 5-6km of turn i took around the military area 😃) hope to see you soon have a nice weekend ahead.

Hi @Chaitanya D thanks for your message.. efforts, flexibility and availability of all Seniors at @Carnity is truly remarkable and reflects the spirit of the club. Promptness and positive attitude with which Seniors respond to every requests is just awesome, despite all personal/professional engagements that we all have.... Our request on this one is mainly as the drive was already planned and change is purely due to the new structure rolled out...So if we can continue with the drive at Intermediate (or for that matter any level) would be great.. some of us planned our weekends considering this drive, so will help us continue with the same ..ofcourse if not feasible due to any reasons that's okay as well and we well understand the same. cheers @Lorenzo Candelpergher

Yeah @Lorenzo Candelpergher read the thread after posting .....plz make it Intermediate and let's go ahead...😉 In any case with three drivers, we can have flexibility on the level...😉😉 Official level is secondary it's the fun of exploring the new terrain with a small convoy

Thanks @Alexander Alcala So what i mentioned as my base option for steep one is what you find has been good to go? ... As i mentioned it's surely has been working till now on most cases ... Was just exploring if any thing diff can add to smoothness .. 3rd low option is something surely on my mind to try - though not that smooth in Jeep to change over while on the move perhaps will explore it on a fewbie drive with slower pace in coming weeks

Sahara JL all stock with 255/70R18

As i mentioned i am using tiptronic and have been experimenting with few tricks - would really appreciate if you can share your thoughts and advice on same. Generally thanks to my pretty new wrangler one of them sails me through in most cases, however have been trying to see in most challanging situation what's a better way. A. My base approach has been approach start with 1st gear and go all the way through. Generally approach something like Iftar bowl at around 3-3.5 and gradually it goes to around 5-5.5k. Bumps are a challenge but then Iftar bowl is something have done multiple times so know how to plan. B Someone suggested that going further steep when rpm goes high, find a suitable area to use BLIP (a smoother part where achieved momentum can push through) to bring rpm down and create some cushion for that tough spot. Tried it few times, worked sometime and didn't at times - more of judging the terrain. C. The one I have not been successful with has been starting with gear 2 and downshifting. Suggestions and advice on these please. @Srikumar @Foxtrot Oscar Cheers

Challenge with going high on speed has always been bumps at bottom of the dune... @Srikumar any tips while on Tiptronics with this situation .
