  1. Ac delco is made in Saudi from very long time. it once had a reputation when they were imported from USA..now just price is high and no quality have seen them fail more then once in the 1 year warranty...
  2. i don't use substandard gas usually get honeywell or else if that's really short of supply then i get klea the japanese gas and both have been really good not much rise in highside at afternoons means the system runs smoothly...
  3. they are good lavish cars but little on the gas guzzling side if you can afford it then go ahead they are loaded with features which can compete with any japanese cars...if you think economy with luxury then think japanese..
  4. altimas are notorious for electric drains usually those get their replacements on around the 8th month once in awhile and bhai we are at ajman its far and not feasible for me to fix it for you but someone from dubai can get it done as well....
  5. sometimes the lockup sensor goes or oil on the clutch or the crank damper itself or the compressor is jamming which indicates the ecu that there is difference in rpm of compressor and the engine then the ecu turns off the clutch in order to save the belt from coming out or ripping it apart...
  6. it depends on the size of battery ,usually you get 1 year warranty but it lasts for more than that if you don't fully drain it out ,yes we do depending on location...
  7. Sure Barry but high output compression gives better cooling at idle and we usually change the compressors of with those vario valve's as they are notorious for failing
  8. 35 k budget you can get station up 02 or 03,can get Prado,fj,can get Fortuner,rav4,Tacoma pickup tundra pickup Lx and Rx, Gx and pathfinder up to 08, armada petrol and let me think some more names just remember that after buying it how much you put sugar that much sweet it'll get....
  9. actually he is referring to denso numbers on the compressors you can go up to 22 if there is place and pipe arrangement allows
  10. i too put amaron in most customer cars little bit expensive but it runs
  11. bhai its 04 he's talking about how long will it take it to be old and ancient i know that pajero also shares many parts with the newer cars but still sometimes you will face that one thing which you won't get anywhere near and have to source it through alternate channels...
  12. @Gaurav bhai i don't need to own a mitsubishi to understand its pain...i run a workshop where 98% of the time the i go for the parts i agree the cars are strong but what's the use if its gonna sit at a workshop for days to months the only mitsubishi whose parts are easily available but are also expensive as compared to its counterparts like a corolla or sunny are lancers as almost all the models have the same parts apart from cosmetic things like headlights taillights and hoods doors 1, a customer had a galant 93 and the other had a 04 whenever they used to come their cars would sit in the garage sometimes for weeks until i could source parts for it 2, a customer had pajero like 87 or 88 i searched whole shj and uaq then found only two shops running monopoly over the parts 3, a customer had a 01 pajero only 3 shops had that throttle body but no one was ready to give they were like then who will buy the engine if i open and give you the throttle (does that mean i have to buy the engine for a throttle body) 4,a customer had a galloper its basically the same engine as pajero i needed a distributor for it the car was at the shop for almost 1 month until i brought it online 5, a customer had a pajero also 90 something he himself went for the fuel tank searching couldn't find it then in the end we wielded fuel tank then the car was back on road and @rahulsamuel bhai the parts sometimes takes time to source i have nothing against any brand of cars my views expressed are based on running around scavenging for parts of many brands and models of cars just remember to take good care of car and the car will take good care of you...
  13. Searching for parts is troublesome and sometimes you won't even get it from the dealers....
  14. See breakdown do happen to almost all cars if you dont take good care of it...but still Korean technology has yet to mature. look wise they have changed but still durability is a issue with them My advice would be to get a Prado or even a Fortuner its basically a pickup chassis converted to a station...
  15. @Barry look under the seats or remove the front bumper it must be somewhere there... @treks there are many american standard of automotive certification and one of it is ASE you have to take tests and practicals and rise through the ranks don't let me start on technicians at the dealerships just take note that they too are humans regarding other countries not having automotive technicians is something new I have heard of.if you ask a tyre technician to fix your radio or find a short in your vehicle then you are bound to get surprised and I am sure its not his mistake...
  16. people usually bring cars from uk to here coz its much cheaper as compared to us lately but there are some fancy people who fly their car to germany and italy to touch up and then take it to uk from there guess you have seen gulf plates there like dxb shj qatar bahrain and saudi in posh areas revving uselessly making noise pollution and getting fines too
  17. the hvac flappy thing or calibration i have done on tahoe and a merc s500 and on a landcruiser 11 model guess at the time you had it it just had read and erase fault menu lately they are having special functions and work support plus live data menu which pretty much gives it the bang for its buck
  18. i have used launch x431 master for almost 6 years its the 3rd most widely used thing around but let me tell you one thing sometime the best have given up and launch has caught that module read it and also calibrated it...its a mistake if you take launch lightly its not completely tilted to one market its just well balanced i have access to maxis elite and gscan2, autoland, bosch, launch 4 @desertdude you cant scan or calibrate luxus with consult or a mazda with star...right and even if such thing gets passed which seems tough it manufacturer simply drops making parts for the models in 5 to 10 years...
  19. Its a 4 model its has a electronic valve body and its working fine as you say the forward shifting is fine then your clutch's for reverse have gone bad...guess you have to get another or get this one overhauled...
  20. You see those two red park light ahead of you just follow them but don't tailgate
  21. don't worry at the deflation point there is always a radio check performed..just don't forget the code word for confirming the radio is quack quack
  22. if you use google chrome then you have to be on same router and the router should have internet too...i guess that miracast goes direct with the smartphone but still the media you will have to source...
