  1. Farhaad Hahahah. I almost understand what you mean by that. Thanks again Bosch filters can? Now that is news for me. I thought they were the best available in the market.
  2. Thank you so much for your time and concerns mates. I spoke with a pro at Swaidan Trdg. a day before and was told that the EGR valve could be the culprit(whatever the heck that is). Made an appt for this week.
  3. To me it sounds like either the alternator or the charging control circuit is faulty. If the alternator belt was slipping however, you would be able to hear it, apart from the fact that you would also be able to smell the rubber melting. One way to confirm is to put a voltmeter across the battery terminals. It should read about 12 volts. When the engine is running, it should go up to around 13 or 13.5 volts which basically indicates the battery is being charged.
  4. Hi guys ... wow thanks for all your feedbacks .. here is what is happening to her car Mojo... You will be driving along very nicely and then it suddenly starts to slow down. It doesn't stall but just no power at all. Basically need to switch off, wait a few, restart and it's fine again. Adnan... Don't really know what you mean by that mate. M not really a technical guy. Will look it up. Farhaad... Yeah one of my mates suggested that stuff too. Will definitely try that.
  5. hello peeps ... my sister's 206 has finally fallen victim to 'loss of power'. My research tells me Peugeot is famous for it and supposedly the ECU is to blame. I am shocked to see that there are hundreds of Peugeot owners facing the same issues but there are no permanent solutions yet. Ima get the coils and the spark plugs changed. Hope that is all there is to that. Anybody else's experience say's any different?
  6. like all car parts are serviced and restored in fluids the same goes for AC, yes it dose not come under General Maintenance but the AC maintenance if done once in 50K will save you a lot in long run and you will not have unexpected fail of AC
  7. if the starter is not working then also you can have starting trouble.
  8. when its concerning engine its best to take your car to a good workshop and let the mechanic have a look after that if you want you can confirm or verify with us.
