  1. What are the most common problems faced in the ignition switch?
  2. If you haven't done any diy process before, always have a helper who has knowledge about automobiles and especially cars.
  3. Foggy lights are a common issue during weather change. You can do one thing. Unscrew the headlights and rub the headlights using a sand paper inside and out. After the wash the headlight properly. That will remove the the deposited dirt from inside out, and you won't feel the fog inside again.
  4. Ya dude. Finally winters. I love this season. Finally cool breeze. I love driving in this weather.
  5. Hey guys. please discuss the worst modifications you have noticed on Dubai cars and why you think it was worst.
  6. Well this is really an interesting topic to discuss on. Just buying a car is not it, you actually need to take a good care of your car. It’s really important to know what your car needs at what time. Now to take good care of your car, remember few things: Number one: Servicing of your car. Make sure you give your car for regular servicing. It always helps in maintenance of the car as it avoids any severe issue in the car for long run. Just have a look: Whenever you are going to sit in the car, always scan your car from outside. Check the tires, headlights and everything. Maintain all fluids: From the motor oil to the brake fluid, always maintain the proper level of all the fluids in the car. Battery: Let’s say you are going on a vacation and you are not gonna use your car for more than 10 days. In that case, remove the car battery and keep it aside. That helps in better battery life. If you face any trouble code or any light on the dash, always consult a workshop before it’s too late. Not only those, if you feel misbalancing or vibrations in your car, never ignore such issue and take your car to the service center before the issue becomes really big and may be you will pay a huge money for the replacement of any car part. And try to go easy on the transmission of your car. Sometimes when you are driving really speedy or jerking speed, it affects the transmission badly. And the replacement of the same is really expensive. So take care of that as well.
  7. You are right dude. one should also take care of mechanical failures in the car. I can brief the following points: Tires, brakes, steering linkage, engine temperature, alternator, timing belt, warning lights, sensors. I can think of these points for now. So if you think any of these parts in your car is troublesome, then don't go for long trips, rather get your car completely diagnosed.
  8. Yes off course. But generally, the new cars come with the automatic hub now.
  9. Its very simple. When you want to change the 2 wheel drive to 4 wheek drive, thats when locking hub comes and it's role. In the manual living hub, the driver needs to stop the car and unlock the hub. With automatic licking hub, driver doesn't needs to stop the car and go to our of the car to twist the axle. You just press the unlock hub and the car changes from one mode to another. That's the only difference.
  10. Please mention some precautions that one should take care of to avoid any misfire or mishappening in the car.
  11. There is black smoke coming out of the exhaust of my car. What does it mean? Is it a bad sign?
  12. All i know is that you can it is recyclable.
  13. P:0128, Can anyone tell me what does this trouble code means? I scanned this code using the scan tool but no idea what's the meaning of this!
  14. Most troublesome cars on the highway are those driving slowly. I mean they are really annoying specially when you are changing the lanes. i dont know how people drive on highway. You need to speed up and cordinate with other cars ont he highway following the speed limit. But slow drivers really dont care about any other car on the lane.
  15. How old is your tire? If its more than 5 years, then its the time to change your tires. If the tires are still new, it means you are somehwere not taking proper care of it. May be keeping heavy things in the car, that also affects the performace of the tires.
  16. Yes you can. You replace the half shaft; unscrew the axle nut which is on the center of the wheel. Just loosen it a bit so that you can remove the half shaft from the suspension. Remove all the old shafts from there. Be very careful when you do that. As per the shape of the old shafts you removed, install the new one with exact same diameter and circle design. Screw the new shafts back and push the half shaft back to the suspension. This is how you do it!
  17. Hey guys. Does anyone know the difference between thermal and non-thermal fan clutches?
  18. Squealing brakes is not a rocket science technology. When you hear the squealing or whining noise from the brakes, it means two things: Firstly, the life of the car brakes is about to end up. In this case, you need to get the brakes changed. Secondly, your brakes are vibrating. In this case, the absorbent brake plates must be damaged which is creating whiny noise.
  19. Mitsubisi Galant, according to me, is a good choice. I had this car before and I really loved driving it. Unfortunately, I had to sell my car to my brother as he needed the car most. Even now when I am driving it, I really like the performance. It’s affordable and the features are really good. Talk about the technology, horse power and the mileage, everything is ok in the car. Just maintain your car from time to time, give it for servicing regularly, and you are good to go.
  20. Really. Well I am not sure, because my car they gave it back in an excellent condition when returned from repaint. I mean the paint is new and excellent. No problem from my side.
  21. Even I like the service from my Mitsubishi dealer. I mean yes, there are issues in the car but their excellence knowledge and code of conduct makes you really lucky to be the part of such group. Proud Owner of Mitsubishi!
  22. That happens when the tires of your car are not aligned properly. Or maybe the tires of your car need rotation. I would suggest you take your car to the dealer as early as possible so that the there is no accident before the problem is resolved.
  23. Is it really a reliable car. I heard so many things about this car. The engine makes noisy sounds. The fuel economy is not good. I was so sure to buy Passat 2 months back but now I am thinking to change my plan. Please give your true suggestions if it’s a good car to go for?
  24. This is ridiculous. I recently got my Boxter serviced by my dealer. And now, the tires are wearing again. They assured me that my boxter is completely fine now. Then what is this? The tires go uneven on the road, and trust me it’s really scary and risky for other drivers on the road as well.
