Get it computer check first from dealer or any local garage and figure what is botering engine to show Check Engline Light. As that will tell you everything that how serious or non serious job is and then you can decide accordingly from where to get it repaired. It could be as simple as loose vaccum causing this. Just open fuel tank cap once and close it tightly until you hear click, in some case if thats loose will also cause check engine light.

ready means what its not something that will grow . installing cruise control is not rocket science see someone else who will do the job

If car is not starting then check below things. Fuel supply coming? Air filter clean? Electrical is good to give spark? Self is clicking and starter motor is cranking the engine? -

i am looking for a good mechanic please.
Amalik replied to raoul's topic in Toyota Land Cruiser Forum in UAE
For land cruiser, take it to any mechanic in UAE they know it all. Its very simple and straight fwd machine to work. No rocket science like German cars and LC offer enough room in engine bay that every mechanic loves to work on cruiser. I get so many think quick fix from enoc eppco guys and some stuff in rashidiya shops like Golden fingers, Bilal garage etc. -
If its due, yes it is important. I hope you meant for AIr filter. If you are talking for Oil filter, then HELL YESS change it every service its good practise no matter how few people says: change every alternate service is ok. But i recommend or prefer changing oil filter on every service to keep my car engine healthy and happy in mere 30 dhs extra spend at every oil change.

Keep it 30 psi as instructed by manufacturer. Its good enough and safe. You might raise to 32 psi if you are driving with full load (all 4 people) or for long hrs on highways.

This means for sure either you have loose terminal or calc deposit on terminals. Remove both battery terimal and pour some hot hot water on both terminals and socket, clean it nicely and wait till it dries, apply little grease and refix it tightly. If still you have flickering after above excersise, then that means your alternator is on the way of expiring and soon you will be stranded on road side. If that happen, dont panic and switch off all lights, ac, music etc and you will be able to drive home atleast. As if battery is good it holds enough charge to keep your car running for few hrs w/o any other electrical overheads.

Climate control how do i replace it?
Amalik replied to kush's topic in Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Forum in UAE
Well i dont think its easy job, best is to take the car to qualified technician who knows the job. Climate control mechanism control whole HVAC system its not only control A/C but also the heating which comes from engine and radiator heat. -
Do you mean the advisor at Al Futtaim??? Probably you/they must have used the synthetic oil last time which last for 10k kms and you must have gone for service after 5k kms, and thats why they must have checked in records and verified that fact and also verified with the current condition of oil being good and not black. Above statement have loads of if's and assumptions, so better get double check outside if your car needs oil change. Oil is much cheaper than petrol full tank and one should never ignore that as it can really blow the engine components.

Toyota Yaris 2008 Manual - Pls help
Amalik replied to lijet's topic in Toyota General Discussion Forum in UAE
You have to buy owners manual, but see if you can live with these links. Toyota Yaris Brief Guide http://www.toyota.co.uk/bv/bwaftersales ... /YARIS.pdf Yaris Repair Manual http://etimago.com/yaris/repairmanual/ -
Only dealer (Al futtaim) sells that.

Switch to manual scan by pressing manual button on radio set and you can toggle up/down in decimal even. Its on auto it scan whatever is available and skip which is not available.
-
You should not switch it off, it basically tells you that its not working fine. Go for computer diagnostic and i think your ABS block is faulty and need some parts change. ABS is responsible for not making you car skid at hard braking on slippery surface.

The Electrical components in my Toyota Camry is not working.
Amalik replied to bajer's topic in Toyota Camry Forum in UAE
Check for ground issues and make sure the battery terminals are clean and tight. -
It may be coincidental, but get car check with proper diagnostic tool as check engine light could be very serious indication of some malfunctioning.
