  1. A picture speaks a thousand words. Thanks for sharing. @Gaurav bhai and I have been witness to a camel struggling to breath because it swollen plastic. We were helplessly watching the camel take its last breath in pain. It is our duty to educate people regarding keeping the desert clean.
  2. I did with AWR workshop in Rashidiya, they did it free For me as it was their fault.
  3. I had very bad experience with Dubai National Insurance, I had to run around for 8 months to get my car repaired. They even refused to believe the police report for the incident.
  4. Last time I did Dimond polish on my Renault Megan's and the worst of scratches were gone. Cost about AED 350 I think.
  5. Seen too many problems with Ford. My favourite will remain Prado, if fuel efficiency is important go for the 4 cylinder one.
  6. I had a Jeep Commander which is from the same family, it was the 5.7 Hemi variant top of the line. The most comfortable and powerful ride I ever owned. However the best time to own it is within warranty as @Gaurav has mentioned, they do have extension of warranty for 6 years or 150000 kms whichever comes first, but after those 6 years best bet to sell it or else it is going to empty your pockets.
  7. I recently got my Geolandaers for AED 475/- per piece, but manufactured 6 months back, some tire shops have them lying around longer, so a tire produced a year back will cost slightly cheaper than one that has been produced 6 months back. Have not come across fake tires, just Chinese ones.
  8. @AMH glad to have you on board brother. Thanks for sharing best practices by consumer.
  9. Since there are a lot of Newbies requesting for a morning drive, this one is for you. I am planning on a relaxing morning drive from Tawi Nizwa shops to Pink Rocks and if time permits to finish it off at the Big Red. Plan to play all along the way, so we can enjoy for a couple of hours before the heat kicks in. This will also be an opportunity for those who have not been in this area to explore a newbie level terrain where you can explore and learn the techniques of off-roading. When: 22 March 2019 Meeting time: 07:30 AM, the convoy will move sharply at 07:45 AM Where: Tawi Nizwa shops GPS Coordinate: https://goo.gl/maps/KKBUhkQ2y382 Level of drive: Newbie but all levels are welcome to join Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 10 inches of ground clearance What to bring along: Breakfast snacks - whatever you like with little extra to share, water, liquids, smiles and courage. Approximate finish time: 11:00 AM RSVP the below calendar:
