Means it's not only the water pump and timing belt; then it should be fine.
I had the same work done for my Pajero 2012 at start of this year and it costed me almost similar that included Labor along with parts like spark plugs, timing belt, tensioner bearing, crank front seal, water pump, thermostat valve, fan belt, outer belt tensioner, outer belt idler bearing etc.
Hope it helps!
Yes all above parts

Hi @Sidshk, what is included in the quote of AED 3500/- (parts & labor)?
At times, there are some other items which could you would prefer to change while almost half of your engine is opened; instead of a re-open later with the same expensive labor.
Its was parts inclusive of Water Pump and other stuffs and labor

Could you go to a small patch of sand and actually try if your car is in 2WD or 4WD ? Just by quickly accelerating you will see if all tyres spin, or only the rear ones.
Driving in 4WD on road will give more vibration.
Do you mean 4x4 is engaged even if the lights are off ?

Looks like your Central diff is still engaged. That probably causes the vibration while driving it on road (not advisable !).
How does the car drive in 2WD ?
The Flashing Light went off and 4X4 display went to normal after re start
There is continues vibration above 95 Kms at 2WD as well

Update
Today morning while driving 4X4 central diff lock light was flashing and 2 wheel light was off, so i pulled up and restarted car and it went off
But there is steady vibration after 2500 Rpm , or above 95 Kms speed
Any suggestion what is causing it ?

Potable water might become precious but water to wash cars will always be in plenty of supply. So don't worry too much about it
Yeah and Fines from Municipality as well

Whats your view on water less car wash , Is it good to use ?
This is wat i found from Internet
A waterless car wash is only recommended for cars with light dirt. Wiping down your car with a waterless car wash spray is advised by any auto detailer as water can sometimes hurt your bodywork and leave marks if you go about it the wrong way.

Went to workshop and as per mechanic the Coils are weak, so vibration are due to that
Do you think same

Timing belts don’t settle in. It is a critical engine part. It’s either right or it’s wrong. And I guess in your case the person who fitted it, fitted it wrong.
It’s best to go to someone who knows what they are doing and make sure the timing marks are aligned. It will cost you 2 hours labour max. The sooner you fix it the better. I recommend good garages to you on Whatsapp. I don’t know why you didn’t go to them. Too much kandoos yaar?
@Gaurav can testify what happens when someone puts a timing belt on wrong. 3 years ago I repaired his pajero. Someone put a timing belt on wrong. Both cams were one tooth out. The engine ended up with bend valves, loss of power and a poot poot doof doof noise. I fixed it. Because I know what I’m doing. Pay small prices, expect small rewards. People avoid me because I charge big. I don’t charge big. I charge what I’m worth.
Stupid people who think they know about cars are the bane of my life. They also pay my rent fixing the mistakes they made.
No Kandoos 😋 We have in house workshop in our Company, so my Colleague suggested to get it done here as car will be available easily
On second Note i didn't got reference on my watsup, as far i remember you were on vacation and supposed to get back to me
Are interested to look into it ?

I’ve never heard about a belt that has to settle in. 🤔
Where do you notice the vibration ? On the steering wheel, the whole car ? Is there a noise that comes with it ?
Is the car running fine and stable on idle ?
Its the whole car , No noise , sometime stable some time vibration but after 10-20 secs it goes way or it disppaers as soon as you start moving
I have changed spark plugs as well with timing belt

I have recently changed my Timing Belt but after the change of belt there is vibration when i m in slow traffic or complete stop which reduces and sometime disappears after some 10-20 Secs. Noticeably vibration is not constant some times there is no vibrations.
I went back to mechanic but as per him its will take time for new belt to set in, its been 2 weeks but still same case
No vibration noticed while normal drive.

Mountain Dew is yellowish green. Where are you buying your dew? 🤔
Its not a big issue, don’t worry so much about it. Buy a couple of bottles of coolant flush, it’s 15 dhs a bottle max and run it in the system for a day. Then flush it all out with water. Always flush from the bottom to the top, that way all the crap with float out the top. If you flush top to bottom, the water will find the easiest way out and only half the engine will get flushed so it’s 2 steps forward 2 steps back.
In pajero you need to use a glycol based coolant, at least 50% glycol. Anything else and you will end up with the same brown coolant. But a proper flush is imperative.
blended whole coolant and topped with new coolant , Mitsu original not the green bottle but white container

Have you bleed the cooling system previously?
Yes , it was done during change of cooling system

If previously bleeding is not done by removing thermostat then saleem might be right, as engine jacket hold lot of coolant and the new and old coolant must have got mixed.
If you have bleed it before, then double check if its brownish or whitish? Has any sticky feel? Pungent smell?
No Its not sticky and doesn't have Pungent smell , its just changed color
Brownish like Mountain Dew color

If coolant has turned greenish brownish inside the expansion bottle, then its fine. Clean the coolant bottle and refill. I am facing same in my ancient Pajero.
If coolant inside the radiator turned brownish, then it's a concern. Please confirm.
Its from inside the Radiator

Actually it depends on what parts are being replaced. The labor cost is typically around 1000 for a workshop in Ajman. If you need to replace any other part the cost can go up or down
I really don't knw wat all will be changed

Part one – UAE – to SALALAH
Well it all started with disappointment, my wife and kids visa was not granted till Thursday evening so we decided to go directly to border and apply for manual visa, we started at 1:00 AM sharp from SHJ to Hatta Border and we reached there by 2:30 hrs, it took 2 hrs to finish formality at border by the time we entered Oman it was 04:30 – 05:00 hrs.
Stage- 1 - Hatta Border to Ibri - 05:30 am – 09:00 am
We took below route from Border to Ibri our first stop was at Lulu hyper Market.
The view from marked segment is awesome with hills, animal grazing and Wadi’s with few water ponds in between.
Stage – 2 – Ibri – Haima 10:00 – 19:00 with 1 hr stop after 250 kms and Petrol Filling
Next route from Ibri to Haima is very boring and tiring with only Flat lands till horizon with no view or Town in between, you get small villages in between after 200 – 250 Kms, Fuel stations are available after every 100 – 150 Kms. It is consisted of both two ways and 4 Track High ways, Work in progress to make it 4 Ways highway. Haima is big town will most of the facility and most of travelers stop for final stage preparation.
Final Stage - Haima to Salalah – 19:00 – 23:30 Hrs
From Haima to Thumrait again its barren land with no life in between, petrol stations are very rare so fill when you see one, No Lights on roads and its two way not very difficult but it makes challenging with Incoming Traffic.
You start seeing mountains and greenery once you cross Thumrait things begin to change with green Lush Mountains and misty climate
This is Part one of the journey, I’m not updating the things to do in Salalah as most of us know about Salalah.
Part 2 to follow soon – Salalah – UAE
