    Paint Work Damage

@Niki Patel if not concerned about the aesthetics, I'd say say just sand it down a bit your self and touch it up with a brush and let it dry completely. Once done, sand it with 2000 grit sand paper and finish it with a polish/wax. Alternately, get a couple of cans of plastidip from ace for 40 AED each and spray the entire hood with 4 good layers. It is a rubber paint and will easily last for 2 years and when you don't want it any more, just peel it off. There are some good tutorials on how to do DIY plastidip on YouTube.
  2. @Chaitanya D thanks for an amazing drive Dr. I joined this drive at the very last minute hoping to test my vehicle as it had been in the garage for most 40 days. Your brilliant lead gave me a good mix of everything I needed to test the vehicle. @Rajeevan Vickneswaran and @Mohamed Seidam both of you were exceptional with the support and we needed a lot of it. Thank you. The rest of the convoy too did really well, it was my first drive with most of you and I was really impressed with the way everyone drove. With summer around the corner, the stucks and refusals will happen a lot more as the sands gets really dry and soft. Like @Chaitanya D said, when going downhill keep an eye on the exit path and if you see it soft or a slight incline, use the momentum you gain going down to power out of that spot as if you stop there or loose momentum there it can end up being a long day. Overall well done by everyone.
  3. I am not very sure on how third party insurances work if you buy a second hand vehicle. I bought mine brand new from a guy who imports GCC vehicles to supply to other middle east countries when certain models are not available. He was tied up with gulf warranties and I got it as part of the deal I made with him. Last year gulf warrienties was acquired by Motor Prime, you could check with them about warranties for second hand vehicles, am sure they would have some cut of depending on the milage the vehicle has done. When I crossed 100k and my warranty expired, they refused to renew it.
  4. @Ashy Congrats and well deserved. Really happy to see you grow and get more involved in the drives.
