The ground clearance of the pajero is a big disadvantage, although 3.8 and diff lock sounds appealing 🤔 I would go for a PF or Xterra

I had a Nissan Juke, I bought it new and worked perfectly fine until a year and a half later when I had issues with the CVT, luckily it was under warranty and they replaced it. I remembered I asked how much was the transmission, he said 30k, so I would really try to stay away from that transmission, although it is difficult since it is becoming very common.

It got me thinking what is the consensus in this community about cars' modifications. What mods do you hate and love seeing in cars? (could be yours or others') For me, I hate seeing the angry eyes in jeeps. And I love that chameleon paint like the one below

I would say somewhere between +50% to +200% markup, depending on the part.

Most of the shops here call themselves dealers but they just take advantage of the prices they get as distributors to get more profit margin. TORC is usually more expensive than the others, you should call them they sometimes will not reply to emails. Most of the time I prefer to buy my things in the US and just ship them to the UAE.
-
Here you go, you can call them and they can order them for you if they are not in stock. https://www.ramyautomotive.com/toyota-fj-cruiser-07-17-upper-control-arms.html http://theoffroadcompany.com/Total-Chaos-2007-FJ-Cruiser-Prado-Uniball-Upper-Control-Arm/242

I had the Fitbit and it is not bad, it is more for people that are active you should check them out at any electronics store like SharafDG, I gave mine to the wife and she loves it, I realized I prefer my watches the old fashion way.
-
I would go with the samsung for the battery life but there are many other options like the fitbit. https://www.pcmag.com/roundup/322670/the-best-smartwatches https://www.amazon.com/Fitbit-Versa-Smart-Aluminium-Included/dp/B07B48SQGT/ref=sr_1_2?crid=UN6WT2OE144W&keywords=fitbit&qid=1556165862&s=gateway&sprefix=fitbit%2Caps%2C378&sr=8-2&th=1 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074VDF16R/ref=psdc_7939901011_t2_B07B48SQGT

I don't know 🤔, we are talking about china, this could have been staged by one of the chinese competitors. Let's wait and see what Tesla's investigation comes back with.

I'm surprised diesel did not work, that usually did the trick for a pickup I have back home. Then again, we don't have this extreme weather conditions back home. -

Last wednesday I got in my car and saw the light below go off on my dashboard. I noticed the cruise control was not working. According to the manual, the light indicates the ESC is malfunctioning. (Oh oh) I get home and run the scanner and I got code C123F-Steering Angle Sensor comparative performance One Google search later and found that the possible causes for C123F are the following and started assessing which are more likely to be. Vehicle damage - Not very useful Steering column/intermediate shaft damage - Not likely Steering wheel alignment - Aha! this might be Steering Angle Sensor loose - Although this is possible it is less likely - this was going to be my next option after wheel alignment. Clockspring (SAS) improperly installed (wrong mounting position) - Not likely Clockspring (SAS) - Not likely Antilock Brake System (ABS) Module - This sounds expensive I did noticed the steering wheel was a little misaligned after the last offroad trip, I was going to mention to the shop on the next maintenance so they can have it sorted, since now I had a code I started troubleshooting from the steps listed here. Since the Steering wheel misalignment was more than 15° degrees I decided to take it to the shop for alignment. Twenty minutes and 300 aed later the car was ready. I take it out, pulled over the car and erased the code with the scanner and started driving, as a precaution I prefered to sit out the next off-road drive. As I did not want any issues while I was off-roading. So far that seemed to do the trick, it's really a pain with all of this sensors nowadays in all cars, they are there for a reason but they could be a burden sometimes. Anyway, I hope this helps for any other Jeep owner outhere in the future.
