  1. For me it is more convenient to use the car's nav than to reach for my phone. Whenever I travel I always rent a car with satnav or with the garmin that way I don't have to use my phone's data while roaming. I don't think that you necessarily pay extra just for the satnav but for the other extras of the car (sunroof, leather seats, etc.) and the satnav just comes along with the other extras. The problem is that car dealers charge a lot of money to update the map so you end up with an outdated satnav in a brand new car. This happened to me last time I purchased a new car, the dealer wanted to charge me 1500 aed just to update the maps. I said thank you but no thank you. So if car dealers keep this attitude yeah it will be dead pretty soon.
  2. I totally forgot about it. you are totally right its a good series. And also the movie Bandersnatch
  3. What I hate the most is when people ask "How much did it cost you?" for something you just bought That's just bad manners, where I am from you don't ask those things! more than once I just wanted to say that's non of your business.
  4. Most of the series I listed are in Netflix. What genre would you like to watch? I could recommend something based on genre
  5. When it comes to movies or series its always up to one's personal taste. I also like anime but I dont think this thread is for that and not sure the audience here likes it. I spent some time living in Japan I have seen a lot of interesting Japanese movies, series and anime but I dont think they are easy to find.
  6. I can relate to this I was using the JT Brooks deflators but I could not get them to work right no matter how many times I practiced I always got over-deflated in one tire. This last weekend I tried the IndeFlate Tire Inflator and Deflator and I loved it, I finished deflating first than the other cars around me and it took me around 5 minutes to inflate all 4 tires. The only con is that it seems a little overwhelming and bulky at first to see all the hoses but once you get the hang of it you finish very fast. This allowed me to install my flag while I was deflating so two birds with one stone.
  7. Maybe this will help in the future. https://gulfnews.com/uae/report-minor-accidents-in-just-three-minutes-in-dubai-1.2099938
  8. I would look into changing the thermostat from the stock to one with lower temperature like a 180F thermostat this will open at lower temperatures than the stock thermostat. If that doesn't help then you need to consider a radiator upgrade.
  9. I have personally tested vaporub, cats wont go near that smell.
  10. Would I pass the test? absolutely!! Would I actually do it again? Not in a million years! it was a nightmare taking the classes and waiting months to do the test (even with the VIP service) just for less than five minutes of test driving.
  11. I know that feeling, I am still waiting for mine too, it should be ready on time for this drive.
  12. I forgot I have to take the wife to the airport tomorrow. Sorry guys I'll see you on the next one.
  13. where do I even start?!! He wasn't wearing the seat belt I think he is on two-wheel drive When he finally made it to the top he got confident and tried to do a side pass but he did not take into account the high center of gravity of his car. As he was going down he was too fast and the approach angle was terrible
  14. Bad angle and the pick up is going waaayy too fast.. and it doesnt hurt to use a kinetic recovery rope.
  15. Sorry I missed the last one, I was on vacation. I'll see you guys this Friday.
  16. Shame I cant join this trip yet. I see you guys on the next one. Loved Superman's parathas!
  17. Thanks! I agree with you, it doesn't hurt to start from the newbie drives. I am driving a Jeep JK automatic, I haven't lifted it yet but is in my plans. Regards, Javier
