Dear friends Mahmoud Torky @Mahmoud Torky Wafi Ziadeh @Wafi Ziadeh Sayed Bilal @Sayed Bilal Anthony Cupit @Anthony Cupit Looper @Looper See you all tomorrow for this absolute newbie drive Please bring along whatever off road tools you have - deflator, radio, flags and compressor ( is needed ) Deflate to 12 psi for off road all terrain tires Deflate to 15 psi for regular tires We will have a extended briefing on safety, drive methods, rules you need to follow and the techniques to drive on sand Irrespective of what drive level in Carnity, the level will always be tuned dwon to the least experienced member signed up. Rest assured , safety and the right techniques is always paramount Myself and @Looper will try to be with you to guide you to the best of our abilities. Please respond and listen to the advises given Some important reminders - tow hooks mandatory - front and back - please ensure your car is in best of the conditions with all fluids topped upas off roading take s a toll on the car than driving on tarmac. - Make sure you have a spare tire and the appropriate lug nut to disengage it. - Get acquainted to your gears, how to engage 4L and 4H, diff locks if any - we will guide you how to do it as we drive along. - Bring your 100% concentrations with adequate rest, preferable not to have any distractions in the form of passengers/ kids . Make sure they are belted all the time appropriate for their age and heights. Convoy listing 1.   4. Noted with thanks @Zain Chawla. When ever you want to RSVP, you open the drive post or calendar and click going. More details will follow upon completion of this absolute newbie drive . It would be great if you can acquaint yourself with disabling the ABS on a Pajero , as in the below link.
  5. thanks @Eli Mathias for your reply. Do you have any prior off-road experience? if so please specify. Tow hooks can be fixed from any off road garages/ fabrication shops .Since this is a important requirement while driving on sand , get them fixed as it is mandatory. See you soon

As a small introduction, kindly inform us about the following: 1) Which 4x4 are you bringing? 2) Do you have any prior off-road experience? if so please specify. 3) Is your 4x4 equipped with tow points /recovery hooks/eyelets at the front and back? This is mandatory to join our drives. For your first drive, I would request if you can bring the following mandatory items: Tire Pressure gauge Tire deflator Air compressor so you can inflate your tires after the drive. ( we will be ending the drive away from a gas station / the compressor at gas station in last exit qudra is under repair most of the times) If you have more offroad equipment, you are welcome to bring it along.
