    Roll Cage is not allowed for passenger cars, unless with prior permissions in Dubai/UAE. Tourist companies which have roll cages in their land cruisers are done after permission for modifications from RTA. As far as I knew , RTA doesn't pass cars with unauthorised roll cage modifications at yearly tests. Please correct me if wrong😊

    Stock Xterra tow hook is inherently weak and some older models had a wierd open D type hook which used to slip at some angle while pulling Three bolt is way safer than the stock, and make two instead of one at the front . And use Grade 10 bolts which are stronger. ( or if you can find Nissan sells the bolts separately for the tow hooks) Periodic inspection is very important to avoid failure as one can pick up rust/bends before they break. Use harness rope/safety rope while pulling especially from front , to protect in an unfortunate tow hook failure situation.

    Its soaring temperatures during summer even around 3 or 4 pm which puts a lot of load on your car off road . Think about getting out to shovel or recover a car in this hot summer, its sweltering 😨 to say the least.(almost touching 50 degrees sometimes) We all do plan afternoon drives but , as all mentioned the leads and members timing preferences incline more towards the mornings (especially in summer ). Nonetheless, dont worry we do plan afternoon drives and sometimes weekday drives too in afternoons .Come winter and you will have plenty of options and timings available to enjoy as many drives as you can.

Sorries to all, I had to step out as I have been advised not to drive due to some medications which I am on currently. Will be hopefully back to drive with you all soon. Frankly I am missing being on sand on fridays😔
