Thx @Chaitanya D @Kailas @varunmehndiratta @Gaurav Soni for an amazing drive and the nice company.. Definitely worth the minor hurdles to get to Abudhabi but nothing compared to what it offers back.. the short convoy was huge fun too thx @Chaitanya D for all the prep and not giving up on this drive week after the other.. well done @Gaurav Soni for managing the self recovery and hard luck @varunmehndiratta for miserably failing to get your wrangler stuck despite of hard you tried 😂😂

I went last night for the test and was told they changed the validity to 24hrs now, that was after spending 90mins in the queue.. I plan to leave early and get the test then drive to the meeting location.. we meet at Adnoc Alsaad (854) 7:00am, right?

1000 Thanks @Wrangeld & @Jeepie for volunteering to lead and support this 2nd convoy and delivering a wonderful Saturday drive that will keep everyone excited for tomorrow’s 7:00pm marathon to catch a place on next weekend’s drives.. thanks everyone for driving so well and being good company .. looking forward for seeing you all soon

Very good start of the day in an interesting area.. always a blessing to have the sand completely for ourselves. Despite that there were around 4 convoys starting at the same point but we never saw each other once we ventured into the desert. I was impressed with the whole convoy performance, everyone drove well and managed the different challenges thrown by @Ale Vallecchi at the convoy very well with few refusals and stucks. Was unfortunate that we had to exit earlier due @Ale Vallecchi‘s car insisting to stay in the lead and rejecting to come second after @Luca Palanca Falsini’s car.. don’t worry Luca and sure Ale will tame his car soon and to let the Fortuner take the lead Thanks @Ale Vallecchi, @Luca Palanca Falsini, @Ahab Shamaa and everyone for a fantastic drive and hope to c u all on the sand soon.. stay safe!

Thanks a lot @Foxtrot Oscar for today’s drive.. I was impressed with your handling of the unfortunate rollover .. amazing how you kept cool and maintained control of the situation and managed to lead the recovery until everyone was out safely @Ranjan Das hopefully things go well with your insurance and the car repair goes smooth and fast so we can meet again on the sand Finally thanks to all drivers on the convoy for the wonderful team work to get the car back on its wheels and finally out of the bowl to the tarmac.. enjoy your week and meet you all soon

@Thomas Varghese you shouldn’t be too worried about this my friend .. we all do mistakes the most important thing is how much learning we get out with .. maintaining sharp focus all the time is a hard skill specially in long drives like this one and in my view you did an amazing job for a first fewbie drive. thanks @Ale Vallecchi for another signature drive and looking forward for more of these and hopefully cross-country in the near future Thanks @Kalahari @Ahab Shamaa and @Francois Germishuys for supporting the drive and was pleasure meeting all follow Carnities .. hope to c u soon on the sand ..
