  1. It will be even better if Mitsubishi can launch an offroad version of Montero Sport given that the Pajero is being discontinued.
  2. I feel painful looking at the X-Ray 🥴
  3. I have seen a couple of (presumably) 4.0 Fortuner on the dunes and they seemed very handy and capable. It is a shame that Mitsubishi could not develop something else that can succeed the Pajero. I used to have a SWB 3.0 Pajero and enjoyed my time driving it. Unfortunately, that was before I discovered the dunes and did not take it to the sand.
  4. Personally, I also prefer some essential controls to be adjustable via knobs or buttons. Muscle memory will help a lot. Touch screen only for non-essential and elective controls, like radio, maps, phone connection etc. It is an overkill and disaster waiting to happen when something essential like wipers speed need to be adjusted via the touch screen.
  5. I am still learning the ropes of offroading from the experts here. I agree that many 4WD in stock form are more than sufficient for newbie trails.
  6. @Xaf thanks for sharing. It is good for me to learn from others' experience. I did toyed with the idea of upsizing the rims and tyres before.
  7. I have not been to that many but from the few (Pink Rock, Fossil Rock and Solar Park), I prefer Pink Rock purely from the picture quality/outcome perspective. Question, for long hill climb, do you start at D and then put it on 1st gear when loosing momentum?
  8. Yeah the tyres today could not take the stress/loads of the high speed corners. Hopefully it’ll be better next week or even better if the tyres are more fragile so the teams will have more pit strategy options. Max is definitely world champ in waiting and he’s still so young and so experienced. I feel sorry for all his past and present team mates. Albon is not doing well at the moment.
  9. Bottas and Carlos are the biggest loser today. They were in for a good haul of points till the last couple of laps.
  10. Wow what a finish. Lots of tyre failures towards the end of the race!!!
  11. @Xaf supporting McLaren. Nice to see them putting in some good races after the dreadful Honda years. What about you ?
  12. After a short break, F1 is back at the classic Silverstone circuit this weekend and the race will be starting in a couple of minutes. Always nice to watch the British GP.
  13. Thank you @Srikumar @Vanessa8580 @Chaitanya D for making the drive a great one. My first solar park drive great fun today and I have never done so much side sloping and definitely good opportunity to practice. Especially when @Vanessa8580 told me to steer down when I lose power and to my surprise I actually gain momentum to continue with the side sloping when I steer down slightly.
  14. Didn't know it can be operated with a remote control.
  15. @Lisa Pembertonis the warranty period of 5 years expressly reflected on the receipt?
  16. @Wrangeld looks like i need to learn how to deflate with stem removal
  17. It is a good price for TJM compressor and long warranty period...will definitely allow for good resale if you have 5 years warranty.
  18. Now I finally know the secret how come I took so 'long' to air down...
  19. @Tbone aha! thanks....I think I will stick with tire deflator as I have concern that the stem may go missing 😅
  20. Is this the quick deflator ? @Fredericsorry for the noob question. You’ll need to replace the stem after deflation ? Is it a difficult process for technical noob ? 😅
  21. I would like to know if anyone uses this from ACE - is it accurate and reliable ? Or if you have something else to recommend.
