  3. A roof tent will give you a convenient, elevated sleeping option that is always present. It will give you great views of the desert or wadis and it will give you a quick and safe sleeping option at various types of terrain. A roof tent will add a lot of weight to the car plus it will increase the centre of gravity of the entire car which will hinder its handling and ability in the off-roading drastically. Added weight will also decrease the fuel efficiency if it is a permanent fixture on the vehicle when it is doing its daily duties. Depending on the type of roof tent whether permanent or removable, if you are regularly going camping or overloading it could be a great option. But if it is occasional use I would not recommend a permanent solution.
  4. Today's drive was more of "Nahel Loops" than "Nahel Loop" as since we took so many loops around play areas that we had to end the drive at Sweihan side rather than where we started. It was a unique experience doing pretty much the same track compared to last time in the sense that today, it seemed a bit more technical. It could be because of the weather and also becuase the track we took was slightly south compared to last time. @Ishak, @Zed @M.Seidam thank you very much to all of you for joining the drive.
  5. Congratulations @Bjoern on your promotion. A deserving one. Enjoy your new levels
  6. The system does acceptance if there are available slots after Wednesday deadline is finished. You can just waitlist on this drive once again.
  7. so many jeeps scattered all over!
  8. Almost all Jeeps with 285s have lift. When I upgraded to 285 I drove without lift for few days and in my observation 285s will rub to the fender in sharp turns on Tarmac and definitely off-road. Also they don’t feel right driving without a lift steering will seem heavy. You would be better off with 265s if you don’t plan a lift kit. I am not sure about 265 but you definitely need wheel spacers with 285s.

Instead of going to Sweihan however, we will do a loop in Nahel Area and exit. Due to the weather conditions, it will be super hot, super soft with lot of push. Emphasize check your car, to make sure you don’t have any overheating or any mechanical issues in your car. It's going to be a challenging drive, Hence please be prepared and lets Loop with Looper!
