Hi!
So after 10 years of my Pajero ownership I finally mustered the budget and courage to buy and install aftermarket wheels. Unfortunately, my Pajero had other plans.
I have a 2” lift (Ironman), everything else is stock.
Plan was to install 17” wheels, 0 offset with 265/70/17 tyres. This fit rubbed against the bumpers. We swapped for +25 offset wheels and 265/65/17 tyres however, the concavity of the wheels pushed against the front brake calipers. Upon research turns out this model has bigger brake calipers and is a known issue.
The wheel shop tried installing 5mm spacers up front but that didn’t fit either. Not sure whether they were generic or otherwise.
The wheels were RRW and models tried - RR7-H and RR7-S
I really want to complete my build and happy to explore other brands (Method etc.).
I would be grateful to hear from you guys on your experience and get your guidance on how to complete this project.
