Lakshmi Narasimhan replied to Gaurav's topic in Off-Road Club's Announcements
Congrats @Shaz Shah well deserved!!!! -
@Ale Vallecchi it was wonderful mid week drive in the “Little Sweihan”. Hot and dusty weather and white sand made it really challenging today. What ever it was following your tracks made it easy and very interesting. Mix of technical area, nice ride riding and criss cross and long range dunes were highlights of todays drive. I enjoyed the drive every minute following you. @Ashok chaturvedi, @Humayun Ghias, @Gok Krish, @Russ, @Gaurav Soni, @Darren Brooke, @Shaaz Sha and @Ranjan Das hope all of you enjoyed the drive and thanks for joining the drive. See you soon!!!

4H or 4Hlc?
Lakshmi Narasimhan replied to Paolo Pellegrini's topic in Mitsubishi Pajero Forum in UAE
I felt i dont have to approach a dune with bumps with lot of momentum on 4HLC, where as on 4H i need more momentum and at time I lose power on bumps. -
4H or 4Hlc?

Definitely 4HLC is better in sharp turn while climbing up in churned up sand. No doubt its better handle in tight technical areas, I started enjoying technical drive more!!! -

Thanks @Islam Solimanfor the incredible drive. Little delayed start was well compensated with extended drive thanks to both the adrenaline rushing 3 rounds of race and the fencing around the Solar park. You have taken us through side-sloping, criss crossing, patch of very soft sand, and loved the highlight of the day the never ending technical dunes. It was not at all an easy track for leading which reflected in the number refusals you had and in particular the area where you sink in to knee level. Special thanks @Islam Solimanfor the ultimate choice of racing back-to-back 3 rounds, with utmost safety which was the icing on the cake. Guess this would be the first in @Carnity history. @Darren Brooketoday you had only one struck and mostly you were recovering. I guess more the challenge thrown at you and with responsibility of second lead you exhibited the best drive. I hope you would have realized that. @Humayun Ghiasit was pleasure driving behind you. No surprise, I was always able to follow you with safe distance and also closely. I love technical drive and to my surprise today majority of the drive was technical and then I had no refusal or pop-out or over heating issues. My best drive till date. I missed your drive in the same track last week and I was able to compensate for that today. @Werno when ever I watched you in the mirror you were maintaining the safe distance consistently which was amazing. Great drive. @Goutam, @Ranjan Das, @JeromeFJ i belive you guys also did great drive as you guys were so silent. @Gaurav Soni I hope you enjoyed the race very much after joining the drive in the very last minute of the previous day. You just had a struck in a tricky soft churned-up patch which was recovered by Hisham. @Hisham Masaad amazing sweep making sure entire convoy stay put together and safe and thanks for the extraordinary demonstration of getting struck and self recovering in the very soft patch. Thanks to every one for joining today and the amazing flawless drive, patience and demonstrating collective team effort. Love to catchup with you all again soon in the “Middle of the Earth”

Thanks is not enough for this drive @Lorenzo Candelpergher, such an action packed, challenging drive pushing every ones limits and exiting with a huge smiles on every ones face!!! Amazing lead in challenging night, making sure every one is crossing safe and recovering when needed and allowing to take multiple attempts till we take the correct track and cross over the obstacles and rerouting when needed. Thanks for taking us through track which we ( at least for me) have not tried earlier. Thanks to @Gaurav Soni and @MUHAMMAD Kashif RAZZAQ for being wonderful CF and sweep keeping the convoy moving safely. @Wernodid an amazing second lead role which is not an easy task to follow Lorenzo at night. I believe you enjoyed and learnt a lot!!! @RooRzOn did very well with your monster @Abdul Rahman AK you managed the Pajero very well most of the times except for few refusals and cresting in tricky area. @Darren Brooke you managed your Tahoe very well on all the challenges thrown except for the side track on Fossil rock where most of our cars struggled on the very soft patch incline on the top. Hope you fix your bumper soon. @Gaurav Soni you kept the center keep moving constantly and guiding the team in self recovery which was amazing. @JeromeFJ it was amazing watching you drive in the front and easy for me to follow your track. I had my share of cresting at one spot where Gaurav tugged me in no time. Also I was able to take most of the challenges with out much sweating except for few minor refusals and once again thanks Gaurav for trimming my mud flap which was rubbing and slowing me down. The best part for me was on climbing Faya which was the best on my Pajero till date. @Danish Mohammad I could see you driving behind me effortlessly in the churned up areas with very few minor refusal all self recovered. @Russ you were not heard on the radio and I believe you took all the challenges just like that with your monster. @MUHAMMAD Kashif RAZZAQ you were instrumental in sweeping the convoy safely and communicating always on the radio helping us to keep moving. Over all it was a fantastic drive outstanding team effort and great learning for all. Literally I didn’t want the drive to end. Yet it was a perfect drive to start a week end. Thanks to entire convoy for such a wonderful drive well started and exited on time. Have a nice week end drive and see you soon.
