  1. Oh Ho ho my friend! She’s getting a CCP loud pipe now… BROOM BROOOOM!
  2. Same for me! In the centre console it gives static, I lift it up and it stops.
  3. Thanks team, I am really enjoying learning and adding to my skill set.
  4. Thanks @Fredericthat was a lot of fun! Technical nadgery dunes in dirty old Dubai. Slow in places and speedy in others, concentration was required at all times. Thanks to @Yousef Alimadadiand @munkybizness for competent CF and Sweep duty, It was a massive caravan today and at times it seemed to stretch to the very horizon but everyone was doing well with minor self extractions and go-arounds happening with minimum disruption. Well done everyone and looking forward to driving with you all again soon.
  5. Hi Anna, can I offer a bit of personal experience? I had one issue with over heating and solved it by using manual shift exclusively. I have driven right through the summer now with the issue never returning (stock system, no auxilliary fan added). Regarding transmission, I think your Pajero might be throttle by wire, if so, check your traction control is definitely defeated (fuse or Chronos switch or whatever you use) as once I was on soft sand and the car would NOT rev at all, the t/c was cutting the power and trying to defeat wheelspin. As for the 4HLC shift, if you are following the recommended procedure provided on your sun-visor card and it is not engaging (light on dash status indicator continues to flash) it may be that the solenoid is faulty which is a very common Paj fault (but good news, it is very cheap to fix) Many garages advertise this check and fix on the Facebook Pajero club page. Good luck and let us know how you get on!
  6. Thank you yet again @Mehmet Volga, you run great drives and I always enjoy knowing that your Pajero is demonstrating to my Pajero that with less power and more weight it can do anything! We always learn something on your drives. Great teamwork again from a great bunch of guys, all of a high level of comptency. A couple of refusals and a couple of tug jobs but nothing that came of silliness or lack of talent for sure! Well done @Josh T., @ShereenMK, @Bretteand @Shaaz Sha, I look forward to our next drive where Mehmet will attempt to guide us through the fence of doom and onward to the dune of joy...
  7. Ahhhhh Abu Dhabi😍 What can you say about towering golden dunes bereft of litter and broken down Toyotas? "Heaven on Earth", thats what I would say. What a fabulous drive@Gaurav! you could run that every week and I'd happily join. It could only be better if it ended at the Qasr al Sarab for a cold beer and a swim I reckon. A hearty crew set off on time with a virgin second lead sheepishly following Gaurav and wondering how life would look at the front of the convoy (rather than at number 9 where it looks rather like a furrowed field) The answer was? Stunning, it looked absolutely stunning. I had the easiest run ever at second lead and didn't really have to lift a finger... Why? the drive was well planned, well executed and well supported by a great team with super team spirit and a can-do attitude. Lots of refusals and some stucks were dealt with promptly and with great commitment, I congratulate you all. I thoroughly enjoyed my morning and look foward to repeating it and completing the original plan. See you again soon.
  8. Thanks @Mehmet Volga for leading a great drive today. It must have been one of the 'slowest' I have ever been on by way of dozens of refusals and stucks! I do believe that we learn something from every one of these events and I for one, learnt to not take a 'little crest' for granted lol! Thanks team for the shovel work and in the end, the gentle tug to get me mobile again. Thanks @Veedoosheefor being so busy at CF. You were buzzing around like a wasp here there and everywhere advising/chatting/instructing and generally sheperding us cats. @Ben84I did not see you much but I could hear you back there sweeping away and doing good works, thanks for supporting us so well. To everyone else, this drive was one of the most taxing I have been on and to see such fantastic spirit and teamwork fills me with pride. We truly are a great club. Thank you all and see you next time!
  9. @Alex Raptora couple of pics of you cresting the heights of greatness in the gallery from last Friday. Enjoy:-)
  10. Note how smooth the top of the crest is

  13. Cheers @Wrangeldwhat a fun drive! My first one back from becoming a daddy last month (I need to work on my match fitness). Technical and tight in places and a bit of air every now and then (I'll get repairs done eventually) Thanks to @Mehmet Volgafor your support and to @Nikifor tirelessly watching over the flock. Special mention to @Alex Raptorfor chiselling the tops off of all of the mountains for me, it was like following a road roller and made my Friday drive a Sunday drive!
  14. Update: Chronos got back to me and admitted that the dash indicator light issue is a known fault and that they have no fix. Pretty rubbish really imo. Make your decision fully informed of this. Cheers
  15. Thanks to @Kailas and @Goutamand @Gok Krishand @Xavier Treasurer for ferrying us through the beautiful if somewhat overheated Sweihan dunes. A challenging course including both speedy and technical parts with a fair old dose of 'hurry up and wait' while various stucks, refusals and pop outs were expertly dealt with. Great team work on display from the highly polished recovery team featuring @Zedas Thunderbird 2, dispensing jacks and ropes and shovels (and radios) in all directions! Loved the big-ass bowls and it was exciting to see three tonne monsters slipping and sliding on the horizontal as gravity struggled to make them verticals (or roll overs) For me, Sweihan retains it's crown as the best place on earth to drive, I can't wait for the weather and the plague to calm down so more of us can visit it more often. Good drive team.
  16. The mighty black LandWhale was roaring behind me at number 7 today, I could smell the hydrocarbons burning in fury! Could you tell if the Gadgero was throwing rooster tails like last time? I am just a little paranoid about the throttle response. (Also, thanks for the lend of your radio bro! I claim Alzheimers) 😝
  17. Well... short answer? it works. It does what it says it will do. Long answer? It felt as if the Gadgero was still trying to apply TC sometimes. A vague sort of lack of response when I put pedal to metal and a sluggish feeling to the acceleration... but only sometimes and I may have even been imagining it because I was so focussed on it? A very real issue is that twice, the dash status indicator went from all four wheels lit/centre diff lit/ rear diff flashing (which is correct according to them) to just the centre diff light on and all others off! I corrected it by turning the ignition off and then restarting. The operational problem here is that when trying to engage diff lock to self extract from a refusal, there is no indicator to show that the diff is actually locked. I had to assume it was and then switched the Chronos to "TC on" and the Gadgero then grunted her way out of the hole she had dug like a magic sand mule! I could feel the TC cutting in and the front wheels clawing at the sand as they got power and then power was removed by the system. It worked really well (apart from the indicator light) At the end of the drive? I just flick the switch to centre position and drive away, no relay to replace in the engine bay. Overall, I am very pleased with it and I will contact them about the indicator light problem to see if there is a fix. Stay tuned.
  18. Still waiting on my bloody PCR test to show up! I hope to join the NOx train on time😂
