Dear Friends, i hope you all enjoyed the drive last Saturday as much as i did, you all did really well . thanks @Gurcharan Mehta for being an awesome 2nd Lead and @Beide Worku for keeping an Eye on the convoy in the back. @Sandeep Nayar, @nithish468, @Deepak Eswar, @Tareq Al Turq, @Mahesh_ its always a pleasure driving with you guys and i hope you enjoyed the self recovery training you had 😃. As the weather is getting cooler many tend to roam on their own in the desert which could be very dangerous ( always at least have 3 cars when you tend to go into the sand ). Always keep in mind the following points when you need to self recover: 1. once you realize you are stuck or crested , take a breath and calm down and make a 360 evaluate the situation . 2. Remember at the Gym we work hard to burn off some calories .... in the desert we dont !!!! we need to work very smart with the minimum energy expenditure. 3. check in which direction your car is more heavy and check which wheel dont have traction and plan your recovery accordingly ! 4. Shovel the sand only in the proper locations usually between the front or rear wheel until all the four wheels are having proper traction. 5. Engage the 4low and the Dif-lock some vehicle like Toyota have A-track or other technology 6. depending on your assessment you execute your recovery, either forward or in reverse with the controlled engine power and the right techniques ( like the blip- blip ) moving the steering right and left ..etc . ( remember never rev up the engine too much. in these situations as you will only dig yourself in even more and might end up overheating the engine or transmission that can cause some serious damage ) looking forward to see you all again in the sand ... cheers ....

@Jun Zamora i see that your last drive with Carnity was on feb 2021 . for your safety i will have to remove you from this drive and i would recommend you to have at least one FB or FB+ drive before joining IM drives again just to make sure you and your car is ready and comfortable with the IM pace and speed. thank you for understanding that safety is prime when it comes to off-roading,

Dear @Mahesh_, @Andrew John Melvill, @Imteeaz, @RiadJL, @Benjamin. It have been nice to see you all again after some time everyone drove really good , the weather was acceptable but a bit windy . The first half consisted of the warmup and practicing and wakening up our maneuver instincts by going through some awkward and angles before hitting the sharp edges and the tall dunes. we slowly increased the pace over those wonderful dunes, till we stopped for the break. unfortunately, the 2nd have was not as fun as the 1st half of the drive as i got my front tire slashed by a rock and we had to practice changing the spare tire process 😂. after we fixed @Mahesh_ pop out i decided to exit at 2nd of December. Thanks @Benjamin and @Imteeaz for the support and @Mahesh_ for the Sweep looking forward to see you again

Hi @Khan2024, from what you have discribed this noise could be caused by one of the following : 1. as @Frederic mentioned Rear Cv Axel (but the noise needs to be consistent ) 2. Rear Propeller shaft ( if the noise is happening while in 2wd and in 4WD ) 3. One of your rear wheels Hubs Bearings are a bit loose and needs to be tighten up . You will hear the noise when shifting from D to R and from R to D but the noise will disappear after moving .
