  1. Thanks @M.Seidam this drive was a great introduction to finally doing an intermediate. I’m always impresseD at how you make the Xterra glide with ease over time he sand. I had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the high speed climbs cross overs and criss crosses. Intense concentration then the break as we drove to pink rock and back. On the two occasions I was stuck thanks for the patience so I could self recover (blip, blip) Even though we spotted a few other off-roaders the team drove so tightly that we might as well have had the whole desert to ourselves. The wind was a welcome addition, my favourite moment climbing along the crest at big red with a steady stream of sand flying over the other side, for a brief moment it almost sounded like rain. Great driving with you @Benjamin @Krishna R @Jaro Tuzinsky@Amir Amiri@Sunil Mathew
  2. Congratulations @Stumpy Paj looking forward to seeing you on a rare intermediate drive. 😀
  3. @christian I heard Ben say to check the rim but that incident actually bent the rim. Good that you got it sorted. Thanks for the 2nd lead opportunity @Davie Chase I’m used to being near the back. This was a nice change following your lines with some adjustments for the long wheel base. @Haneef Thayyil you did good , the patrol is a heavy beast, stucks and refusals are a great opportunity to learn how to recover. @Benjamin always great to hear your development as support , clear radio instructions and under @Islam Soliman guidance you got a lot of practice. Just as well we left when we did too with record temps recorded in the UAE. I’ll be watching for more Lisaili Drives it’s a fun area, and close to home 😀
  4. Looking forward to this drive @Davie Chase looks like a short convoy so far, I’ll have a passenger with spare shovel with me
  5. I have a passenger who really wants to go this weekend so I’m gonna drop @M.Seidam And swtich to @Davie Chase drive leaving you an open space for the next waitlisted member.
  6. Great drive @Looper I really appreciate the variety of drives we experience in Carnity. Loved the fast pace and as always being in a long wheelbase at the back of a long convoy leads to some interesting situations, in the first portion of the drive there was a short double cross over which upset the Gladiator, made the right decision to come down with the other long wheelbases following. Shortly after this as we were coming down from a left sidey there was a cross over to the right , I witnessed @Joseph Raju crossing and didn’t think I was in the right position to come down and cross over without a potential flip, so tried to find an easy re route , unfortunately this led to an excellent crest situation, self recovery was not possible so @Mark B gave a good tug and we were on our way again. My only regret yesterday is I didn’t bring the camera to record the drive.
